Everyone was very helpful, friendly. The room was great . The deck outside the breakfast room was amazing. Quiet!! And the Rolls, what a treat - almost as good as my moms!!! Would definately stay again.

Nice clean rooms, excellant staff
The staff was so understanding and helpful. If you had a problems or need they were more than willing to help you. They went out of their way to make my stay a good experience. Rooms were very clean and the rest of the motel was the same way.

they made sure we were aware of the trolley that would drive you to the historical section of Deadwood and how often it stopped a the motel.

For us it was really just a place to crash for the night, though would have been happy and comfortable if staying longer.

Wow.....A Hidden GEM !!!
I have traveled and stayed at more than 500 hotels throughout North America and found a TRUE Gem.......With this hotel. I know it is supposed to be a SUPER 8 but compares with a Holiday Inn Express and almost creates the environment of the Marriott.

On another note they have the ONLY Rated Casino in Deadwood with the Payouts listed in the machines and all the locals from the area know where to put their money in.

Not what we expected
We requested a non-smoking room but instead got a smoking room that they used a room ionizer on, which it didn't work. The room was smaller than our youngest childs room. Other than that the lady at the desk was great and the people in the casino were awesome

Great place and friendly staff
Staff was exceptionally friendly throughout our whole stay. Had a great time and hotel was clean, Nothing fancy but acceptable. Nice location. Really enjoyed it.

Not what we expected
This hotel line doesn't have billing through [...], which wasn't a big deal for us. When we checked in the desk staff made disparaging comments about booking on-line, apparently billing is a bigger deal for the hotel as they gave the impression it was causing an inconvenience - how do they deal with other customers who didn't book on-line?? We upgraded to a queen suite, but we got just a regular room, albiet large. Inquiring at the desk, we were told that was a queen suite in their world, and nothing else was available. They did scale the price back to a double queen bed room. The shower head was really low, very awkward for the taller members in our group. Worst thing was we were put in a smoking room, after reserving a non-smoking one - again, no change was available.

Frequent Black Hills Visitor
Excellent Trip and Stay
This is one of the several times that we have stayed at the Super 8 while snowmobiling. It has excellent parking, great staff and everyone out there will go out of their way to help you and solve any problems. Perfect I already have my reservations for the year ahead.
