Yuck

Absolutely disgusting. Very dirty carpets in room 326. Bedspeads were stained, dead flies on sink, yuck. I was very disappointed in the overall condition of this hotel. Not the typical Comfort Inns that we have enjoyed in the past. gambling machines were mostly broken and did not pay out at all. I will not return. EVER.

This was a nice, clean hotel on the outskirts of deadwood. The hotel provided an inexpensive tram service into the town center that ran until 2am.

Would stay there again

Was there for a motorcycle rally and the facility was definitely motorcycle-friendly. Very good room, small casino, decent breakfast. Bar on premises was convenient, as well. My only complaint was the lack of water pressure in the shower.

Would stay again

We arrived prior to check-in, but after an already busy day we opted to play in the arcade, mini golf and bumper boats. It was a perfect way to wait until 3:00 for the check-in. Breakfast choices allowed all of us plenty of delicious items to start our day. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly.

Comfort at the Comfort

We like to walk in Deadwood but the location of the Comfort Inn is "way up in the gulch." However, the distance is nicely accommodated by a shuttle service to downtown until midnight and the Trolley is available until 3AM. There may be a small wait but no big problem. Besides-you most likely won't find a place to park in Deadwood. The room at the Inn was clean, well appointed and quiet. The TV was tricky and did not want to cooperate with the controls. Not a big deal for us. The casino downstairs is slot machine only-we would have liked a more frequent payout but thats our problem! There are no card games, roulette, etc. So if your looking for this sort of action at the place you stay-this is not the place. There are a number of amenities at the Inn geared toward small and older children so a family would be quite comfortable here. Overall. high marks from us-we enjoyed the stay and the staff was very pleasant. Try the Sport Bar filled with Kevin Kostner memorabilia for good food at a good price.

Great Choice

Stayed at the hotel for two nights. Everything went well. A little odd walking through gambling room to get to room and then again to get to dining area. Super choices for breakfast. Enjoyed the cleanliness.

Good Stay

It was off-season, so we had the whole place to ourselves. Didn't particularly care for the Casino, but the rest of the facility was nice. Clean room.
