Nice little place

This hotel was a little further away then my wife and I expected, but it was just a short drive to anywhere in deadwood. This hotel is a little small but has a hometown kinda feel to it.

Daugter's wedding in Deadwood, SD

Rooms are small but more than adequate for sleeping. Staff and management was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Traveled with son, his wife, and 2 small children, so was nice to be away from the loud night life of Deadwood. Is very nice having the trolleys making 2 stops per hour so didn't have to worry about finding a parking spot and they run till 2 a.m. Will stay again on our next trip to Black Hills. Would recommend this to all our friends. Thanks Blackhills Inn & Suites.

Is a short drive to Deadwood, under a mile. Located so you can see most of Black Hills attractions. If you need a quiet place to wind down this is the place.

Another peaceful night

Quiet location just outside of Deadwood, SD. Clean pool and jacuzzi, nice lighted walking path (Mickelson Trail) just outside the door either for an evening walk into the wilderness or 1.5 miles into Deadwood.

Good value

Quiet, clean room that really needed some updating. Pretty small. Friendly staff. Not much of a breakfast - but it was included with room price. Compared to nearby hotel prices in Deadwood, this was a good value for just one night. Would probably stay in nearby Sturgis next time to get the same price on a better room.

Nightlife tip: Short drive from hotel

This hotel is too far from the downtown casinos to walk, but there are free(?) trolleys that run from the hotel. Don't know the schedule. Parking in downtown Deadwood will cost around $8

Nice place

You don't have to drive or take the trolley to downtown Deadwood. There is a very nice trail that goes right by the motel. It is probably about 2 miles from there to the downtown. A very pleasant walk.

Quiet, friendly comfortable place

Nice location away from the busy areas of the casinos. Easily accessible to the casinos and other sites in the area. Friendly staff. Could maybe have more selections on their Continental Breakfast but not bad.
