Minutes from downtown Deadwood and steps from the slots
A newer addition to the Deadwood hotel scene, AmericInn Deadwood connects to Cadillac Jack's Gaming Resort on Main Street, just north of town. Despite close proximity to six gaming rooms and the on-site sports bar and restaurant, the rooms and suites here are remarkably quiet, thanks to the special soundproofing construction methods use by AmericInn. Guests can walk to downtown Deadwood from here (about 10 minutes), and myriad Black Hills destinations lie within an hour drive, including Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse Memorial (each 50 miles).
Highlights
  • Special "SoundGuard" construction ensures extra-quiet rooms
  • Six gaming rooms and a sports bar and restaurant on-site
  • Heated indoor pool and steam room on-site
Location
AmericInn Deadwood connects to Cadillac Jack's Gaming Resort on Main Street, about a quarter mile from the center of town. Numerous natural and historic attractions lie within a one-day drive of the hotel, including Devil's Tower, Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse Memorial.
Rooms
The accommodations here have a reputation for being spacious, quiet and clean. All rooms come with high-speed Internet access and feature a mix of convenient necessities (microwaves, mini-refrigerators) and updated amenities (pillowtop beds, flat-screen televisions with high-definition channels). The 11 AmericInn Deadwood suites deliver extra perks like wet bars, gas fireplaces and whirlpool tubs.
Features

As part of Cadillic Jack's Gaming Resort, AmericInn Deadwood accesses six 24-hour gaming rooms. Expect live poker and blackjack tables, plus 181 new slot machines. The hotel serves free cold breakfast in the casino area (donuts or muffins, coffee, tea and hot chocolate) and guests can also buy breakfast at the on-site restaurant, Brown Rocks Sports Cafe, which puts out a more substantial buffet. Brown Rocks also serves lunch and dinner, with a menu that ranges from gourmet pizzas (think spicy chicken or applewood-smoked ham and pineapple) to steak tips and barbecue ribs. AmericInn Deadwood has an indoor heated pool, steam room, and spa. Guests can also access a nearby fitness center.

Happy in Deadwood

This hotel has large comfortable rooms. We also liked the fact that we could park the car and walk to the heart of old town. The hotel has everything you need whether it's the casino or Starbucks coffee. We would stay again!

The Deadwood Experience

Very easy to get to downtown Deadwood, just down the block from the hotel. We traveled throughout the black Hill region using our hotel as our home base

A quiet, relaxing and fun facilty

We played the machines, had one evening meal and walked back and forth to other casinos and restaurants within the area. Our trip would have been much more enjoyable had we had a non-smoking room as requested. [...]

Enjoyable weekend getaway

We were in Deadwood just for one night. The parking at the hotel was limited unless we were to use the valet parking. Hotel room and casino was very clean and comfortable. Ate the breakfast buffet at the sports bar. The food was not very good. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful

Nightlife tip: In Hotel

Also there is a trolley that runs every 20 minutes to take you to downtown Deadwood to the other casinos. The cost is $1 per person each way but better than trying to find parking. Parking in all of Deadwood is limited.

Room service would have removed the smoky walk, but the food was good, even if in a sports bar (only option).
