Super 8 Brookings

I went to visit my sister on a short notice. The room was clean and so were the hallways. The pool was beautiful though I didn't utilize the service. The breakfast lounge was nece and they had typical breakfast food selections. For what I paid- I think I had a pretty good deal. I would stay there again.

Accomodations were fine, rooms comfortable and clean, employees pleasant and helpful. Price was reasonable.

The staff was pleasant & helpful. The "continental" breakfast wasn't all that great. Would been happier to see eggs, bacon & sausage maybe. Also, we had to eat in the lobby, there was insufficient room in the dining room.

Overall, the experience was not that bad. However, the hotel needs to make a few upgrades. I noted that the hotel had a "business center" when I made my reservation. I called ahead to ask if the Super 8 had a readily available print because I would need to do some work from the hotel and print a few items. The front desk assured me that everything would be ready and available. After waiting for over an hour for the one computer to become available, I was disappointed to find that the computer didn't even have the necessary programs such as word and excel. I had to find a last minute place to print. I could not believe that a computer in the "business center" would not have basic program such as word and excel. The description needs to note that it is not a business center but a single computer dating back to the early 90's.

We showed up a few hours before actual check-in time. Our room obviously wasn't ready yet but they still let us check-in and get our room keys for later, so that was nice. We were here for one night. The bed wasn't the most comfortable I've ever been in but it wasn't too bad. I could hear our neighbors in their room while we were in the hallway. But once we got into the room, we couldn't here them at all, which I was very thankful for since I am a light sleeper. The room was pretty standard. It had a small refrigerator and a microwave. The room was pretty clean so that is all I cared about. The breakfast in morning had more than just your typical rolls/muffins you see at other hotels. They had waffles, cereal, fruit, oatmeal, cinnamon rolls, toast, coffee, tea, juice, etc. Overall, a very pleasant stay. We will definitely stay here again.

We came to vist our daughter,son-in-law, and grandchild to be. Super8 Brookings was great and very personal. They scan in coming calls for us, which was very helpful. If your looking for a privet, personal,quit get away...Brookings, SD Super8 is the one.

It was very clean. The service was great due to the weather conditions. The breakfast was the only thing I had a problem with. It was very small with very little choices. Other than that it was a great place to stay.
