Thanks Motel 6
It was so nice to stay at Motel 6 in Belle Fourche. I went for a wedding and I just wanted to let everyone know how extremely nice and understanding the staff there was. They went above and beyond being friendly. Every night they offered to let my daughter and I go swimming a little after hours. I had an "incident" in my room and instead of making me feel bad about it, they were extremely understanding and accommodating. It was so nice to feel at ease so far away from home. Thank you Motel 6!

Make sure you go see the D.C. Booth Fish Hatchery while you are there. It is in Spearfish, SD and it is free. Great entertainment for the kids!

Cheap Biker
Good Value
We traveled to South Dakota for the Sturgis motorcycle rally & to see the attractions such as the Badlands, Black Hills, Devil's Tower, etc. We chose Motel 6 in Belle Fourche for its location. It was a short drive from the motel to any of the places we wanted to see. Our room was larger than other Motel 6's we have stayed at and was very clean. The amenities were sparse which would be expected for the price. If you stay at Motel 6 bring your own shampoo & hair dryer. Don't expect a big screen TV or lots of closet space. If you prefer to save money over lots of amenities, Motel 6 is a good choice. We stayed at many Motel 6's on this trip & the one in Belle Fourche was by far the best. I would definitely stay again.

Short walk from hotel
Belle Fourche is a small town with not a lot of choices for dining. There is a restaurant next door and a few cafes downtown but for a larger variety, drive to Spearfish.

Very impressed with the staff. We came in drenched from being caught in a downpour and were given extra towels to help us dry off.

Top Notch Staff
The staff was VERY plesant and accomadating, one of the best I've seen in a long time. Also they have a pet policy which I think is a plus. Disadvantages to our stay were; I believe the price was a little steep for the accomadations, a hair dryer would have been a nice addition to the room or even one that the staff could borrow to guests, the television was way up in the corner where it was really difficult to see, we prefer something a little more eye-level to watch, the room was clean however, an air filter machine was left in the room, unplugged. From previously working in the motel industry this makes me think more than likely the room was not checked on after cleaning. I come to this conclusion because those machines are too expesive to have in every room of the hotel also a dishonest guest could have taken it from the motel. Overall our stay was a pleasant one and I think the staff deserves a standing ovation. Especially the night clerk that was there, she was very personable and I hope you relay that to her.

There is a store called Robbs really near by which has a lot of really nice stuff in it but it is a discount store. I'm a bargain hunter and like to look so it was really nice that it was close.
