Had all the amenities I was looking for (wireless internet and breakfast included) at a great rate. I would not recommend for someone that spends a lot of time at hotel since the walls are a little thin between rooms. Hotel is great for someone just looking for a place to sleep while they are in town.

Blue Marlin is a great restaurant with regional food for those that are not looking for a chain restaurant.

Bad smelling room
My room felt damp and had a peculiar, unpleasant smell. The phone did not work and was dirty, the towel rack fell apart when I went to hang up a towel, and the room was generally substandard in cleanliness. I mentioned this to the person at the front desk but he did not offer to make any change, just said 'sorry',[...] The room was not worth the price I paid at all and I was very disappointed[...] I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good overnight stay
This Motor Inn was clean, well kept, and friendly. We will stop there again. It is a bit far from I-77, but if you are going southeast on I-26, it is perfectly along your route, as it is just off I-26. It is fun to see some of this great city.

Convenient for the $$
Clean and comfortable for the price and location. Excellent for a 6am flight out of Columbia with very easy car rental drop-off. Many eating choices within about a mile by car. East-west freeway access 0.5 mile away, easy drive to Charleston(east) and Augusta, GA(west). Staff was helpful with local information. Would stay here again~

fine for the money
Comfortable beds, pillows. Good location to Columbia airport; Augusta GA about 1 hr away. Cleanliness was average. No frills. AC unit works well and drowns out outside noise well.

the Vista section of Columbia offers many nice restaurants, I would think twice about named steak houses that are overpriced, outdated and unimaginative in their menu offerings

this is now Days Inn
stayed one night, hotel provides a good value, breakfast is available and included in the room charge, nothing gourmet, but it will get you going in the morning. I visited the University of South Carolina, which is in reasonable proximity to the hotels, less than five miles and a straight shot, it is my second time at the hotel and I would rebook in the future.
