We were greatly disappointed. Despite the motel being mostly empty, our room was all the way in the back. The staff did recommend for us to park our car in the front for the night. It was the first motel that stressed checking who was at the door
before opening. The sheets were clean, but the walls had so many modifications the sheet rock should be replaced. We slept in fear and left at the break of dawn. The breakfast was usual fare, but not great on taste. I didn't see much of Walterboro, but if local criminals are targeting the motels so much, it is best to pass the town completely.

I would not even stay there!
The internet was down and the pool was broken, after driving for 16 hours that is all I really wanted to do. I took a quick look inside the room and left. This is the first time anything like this has happened.

Short walk from hotel
It really not close to anything but Cracker Barrel, but I happen to love it.
