This is one of the best nights I have had with my husband and the staff and the facility played the biggest role. Anything we needed they went out of their way to accomodate. My husband and I felf as pampered as we ever had while in this resort.
We played tennis on the clay courts and this was a rare treat from this for usl We would have enjoyed a jacuzzi ;with all the other luxeries at least a private one for each room would be very romantic or just have a big one for outside.

real southern hospitality and beauty
The Inn was a touch of old southern beauty and hospitality. Everyone graciously called me by name, and saw to my every need. The food was excellent, and the wait staff was perfect. Between the beauty of the Inn, my lovely bedroom suite, the
staff's attention, and the great food, I felt like Scarlet O'Hara. I will definitely return!!

Never to Return
Upon being seated, I was uncomfortable with the waiter's chatter in my ear from the table behind and above us. It was almost too dark to read the menu. The ambiance was exceptional, otherwise, with an extremely talented guitar player
performing. Service was fairly prompt and accommodating, with coordinated participation from waiter, busser and manager. The wine list was truly "extraordinary" in every sense of the word. Menu items were exotic and the taste was sensational. Regrettably, portions were meager, especially considering the price paid. Having enthusiastically sold us three bottles of fine wine, our keys were withheld from us and management insisted that we take a taxi, even though we live over sixty miles away. Outrageous!
I think it an utter disgrace to pay the prices I did for such meager portions and then be treated so callously by management. What does a 5 Star rating really stand for? If we cannot truly enjoy your hospitality without fear of reprisal, then no!
