A fine hotel for what was needed
Needed a clean, adequate, no frills hotel. This was that as well as a large room with a little sitting area, and a decent breakfast with plenty of choice. Staff could not have been friendlier. Half the price of the hotel just down the road, and just fine for what I needed.

The location was close to the Upstate campus, right off the highway, but located on a very busy roundabout. The bathroom was clean. The bedspread was older and stained. We left at 11:30 am, returned at 5pm, and had to ask to have maid service. the elevator was being repaired, but there were no signs on the floors above, so people were waiting needlessly. The breakfast was good. We have stayed at Quality Inns many times, but this one was our least favorite.

Quiet, Clean and Friendly
I came in late and the woman at the desk was the nicest, friendliest person ever. She had just dealt with a nasty person and she still spoke nicely of him. She got me a room exactly where I wanted it - away from everything. I heard nothing and slept extremely well. The mattress was not too hard or soft. For a 3 star hotel, it was fabulous.

Good place to say for business stuff
I have stayed at this hotel several different times for business. It has been a good place to say so I keep returning. Its location is ideal to interstates and downtown Spartanburg. The beds are always comfortable and even the pillows are good! Its also nice that the wireless internet always works. The complimentary breakfast is also a nice.

There is breakfast (including waffles and quiche) each morning. There are several fast food restaurants walking distance from the hotel. Its also a short drive to a whole variety of restaurants including local spots and your normal chains.

Friendly but needs updating.
The hotel staff was SUPER friendly and accomodating. The breakfast was plentiful and constantly refreshed and restocked. The rooms, however, were cheaply furnished, the bedding was thin and faded, the bathroom grout was dirty and in bad repair. There was a dusty-musty smell throughout the hotel and I felt uncomfortable showering there.
