A bad experience

Reservation made the day of tvl. web site reflects exact room required available. booked the room. Arrive at hotel and room was not available..all empty rooms had not been cleaned that day. clerk sent me to another room which was still occupied and reeked of illegal drugs. i returned to the desk and asked to cancel reservation..i have receipt of cancellation. I am looking for a total refund to me credit card. This has been the worst travel experience I have ever had.

The trip was made by me and my husband and the purpose was to visit family. The hotel was well worth the price we paid. [...] We would not have paid the original price for the rooms. The special commodities were nice, but did not look new. They had a stove, sink, dishes, silverware, and a drying rack. The even provided dish soap. Everything else was typical hotel commodities, towels, TV, dresser, night stand, paper products, etc. The also clean the rooms every day.The location was both good and bad. It was a convenient location to family, interstate, and restaurants. However, the location is not ideal in terms of the nearby neighborhoods. My father's house is hardly five minutes from the hotel and so I know they aren't the best neighborhoods. We woke up each morning with people yelling outside. My main complaints however would be that although we were in a non-smoking room there was a cigarette burn in the comforter and they did not provide shampoo. Shampoo was a problem in that we didn't bring any because we assumed the hotel would provide it.The people that worked in the office were friendly, however, and we would overall say that we enjoyed our stay.

Great Value

Becaues of traveling so often with my church, great value is priceless. I don't want to stay in a bad room because I have to stay on a tight budget. I would like to see the twin beds go. When I travel, it is important to really get a good nights rest, even better than at home. Plenty of room in the bed makes a big difference. It would be good if the kitchen was just a bit more stocked with the basic things needed if you want to prepare a simple meal or even heat leftovers.
