Great place to stay
We stayed here overnight on a trip to Florida. Nice surprise to find a reasonably priced restaurant/bar-not an extensive menu but the food was decent and the staff was very pleasant. Great breakfast. Even though there were highly rated restaurants within walking distance,we were tired and it was cold, and we were content with the option of eating in the hotel. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I would have rated this a 5 but the "heated pool" wasn't and the pool room was chilly. The TV in the small fitness center didn't work, but there were a treadmill, elliptical machine and recumbent bike. Definitely will stay here again

The rooms were clean,I rented 3. The bathroom vents did not work! No continental breakfast, they had a restaurant but I had to many people and the food was$$. I had a budget. If I had to do it again I would have chose a hotel with a containetal breakfast. The overall was fine.

was a good stop clean, helpful,good food
got in at 5:30 pm shower and out to eat. clarks is a good spot local owned. everything was there that i needed. receptionist was helpful in answering any questions i gave her. price was ok. went by the pool to much cloreen, so i didn't go in.

clarks resturant just down the street. you could get sit a the bar and eat or get a table. the food and service was good. good prices

Convenient hotel next to I-95
We were traveling from Florida to Maryland. Santee is a perfect mid-way stop for this trip. The hotel is clean and quiet. Location is right next to I-95.

best yet
I have made this trip about 10 times, but this hotel was the best yet. From now on this will be my first choice for my trip to and from florida. The room was very clean and perfectly located for me, as I had 2 dogs with me. The staff was superior and the restaurant was excellent. The only thing I would add is at least 1 HBO channel.
