Fair To Midland

I stayed at a Wingate in LaGrange, GA on business and based on that experience when I decided to take my family to Carowinds for the weekend I made it a point to stay at a Wingate. It's not that any one thing really bothered me. The Hot tub has been permanently disabled, the room had a 25" old round tube TV, didn't know they still had any of them around, anywho, the pool looked to be falling apart, toys and someones pool float left in the pool. Beds were fine, air conditioning could have worked just a little better, don't like to sleep on top of the covers. I just was expecting more from a $100 dollar a night hotel. I won't hammer on a chain for one experience, just say I'll seek other hotels on my next stay near Charlotte, NC. Oh, one last thing, elevator number two feels like its going to fall apart, use elevator 1, closest to the lobby.
