Not up to my standard

Decent Hotel at a Decent Price

I booked a room at the Jameson because of its proximity to a family funeral. This is a motel type facility with your own door to your room. I don't usually like that sort of place. But, the lobby staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, the TV worked fine. Only soap and shampoo in the bathroom -- no shower cap or moisturizer. It's a decent, basic place to stay for a good price.

Jameson In Orangeburg

We did a quick overnight stay. Room was nice and clean except for the carpet. Quiet location and rooms. Grounds were very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was bad. The waffle batter was almost gone and had been there for some time. Had a strange taste. They were out of coffee by 8AM.
