Decent place to stop
The Orangeburg Hampton Inn offers a comfortable, clean place to stay the night. Hotel staff called the room shortly after we checked in to make sure everything was to our liking. The restaurant, Fatz Cafe, is within walking distance and has a good selection of food to choose from. Hampton Inn's free breakfast is also a good reason to stay here. I would definitely recommend for an overnight stay to break up a long trip.

Great Hotel!
My husband and I recentely stayed here while setting our son up to go to college in Orangeburg. The staff was super friendly. The complimentary breakfast and cocktail service was awesome! The only complaint I would have is that the tub in our room drained really slow and the water would back-up in a pool while we would take showers. And a min-fridge in the room would have been nice to have. Other than that, the location is great because there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. The area also felt safe. The pool was relaxing. Thanks Hampton Inn and Orangeburg!

There is a small mall just a few miles away. But there are quite a few Dollar Generals. There is also a Big Lots, K-mart, and Wal-mart not too far.

Staff was pleasant, room was immaculate, comfortable. I had one of the whirlpool tubs you could fit an entire family in. It would have been perfect if I could have had my dogs.
