Wyndham Ocean Boulevard Resort

this hotel was fabulous. I was originally supposed to get tower 4 which is across the street but after a month of contant calls to the resort I was assured I wouldn't be placed across the street. We ended up in tower 1 an it was fabulous. The view was great and everything was so conveniently close like the pOol and beach. The appliances were a little outdated but according to te staff it's goin to be upgraded soon. Oh that's another thing. The staff was EXCELLENT! everyone was so nice. They keep the place super clean. You always see Someone cleaning something. Also the security guards were so nice. The hotel always had an activity going on like cheap ice cream sundaes or free Zumba on certain days. On the weekends they have free lemonade and cookies at 2pm. There's also coffee in the mornings for free. There's an activity room where u can rent board games or movies and you can play pool or pingpong which the kids loved on rainy days. Overall this was a great hotel and its probably the biggest one in north Myrtle beach. It's hard to find parking at night and we had to park in the overflow lot many of the nights. Also, the area is kind of dead. Theres not much going on around the area for kids so I recommend broadway at the beach which is in Myrtle beach.

Kids enjoyed stay with game room, pools and beach. However for me the parking situation was terrible, you can grow old waiting for an elevator, the beach was too crowded and the staff was no help when needing a jump start on car when battery died. Resort has too many hi rise condo buildings in a small space.

Great Hotel for relaxing and time off

Hotel was clean and had great amenities. My only complaint would be that there is not enough parking at the building. The parking across the street is not convenient when you are lugging kids and their stuff. Other than that, everything was great. Staff was great, hotel was great

Resort has everything you would want. The parking is tight and some times a distant lot.

Room was nice. Location in Building 4 was across the street from beach, which is not what we expected. Very inconvenient to get to beach or other amenities which were across the street on the beach side. Also, Checkin/checkout times per Orbitz was 3pm and noon, but when arrived at hotel they would only honor a 4pm checkin and a 1000am checkout. Checking out by 1000am was unreasonably rushed. Also, checkin procedure forced you to sit through a talk to get you to sign up for a 90minute time share which was upsetting as we were not here for that.

We were there for a quiet restful holiday weekend. This facility met our expectations. While it was busy, the hotel was quiet and very much a controlled atmosphere. While were visiting as a couple, many families were there and seemed very content. I have already scheduled another stay for next summer.

This was a beautiful hotel. Very clean. The staff was freindly and helpful. We did have trouble getting ahold of the front desk though.

Spent most of the time on the beach with my wife and 6 years old daughter. Huge rooms, otherwise nothing special at all. I left my key in the room and had to wait more than 20 minutes in the line of 2 to get a new key made for me. At the time of reservation (with Orbitz) I was given 12pm check out time, when we got there it turned out to be 10am. If you want to spend your vacation time the same way you do it home and see the ocean in the window, and if you want to go to the same or very similar restaurants you could go in your city 2 or 3 blocks away from your house and after all tell your friends how great everything was, I guess this might work for you. Otherwise look elsewhere. And one more thing... the staff is not rude or careless but they also do not really smile there.
