North Myrtle Beach hotel with lazy river and waterslide
Up-to-date furnishings and that perennial kids' favorite -- a lazy river -- make a strong case for booking the WyndhamVR Towers on the Grove at pristine Cherry Grove beach. In fact, guests compare this property with a high rise in South Beach. Inside, look for touches like stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and "grown-up" furniture like leather sofas and tufted headboards. But this is still Myrtle Beach, which means access to family-friendly attractions like the NASCAR Speedway and Grand Strand are never too far away.

Excellent!!!!
We stayed at the Wyndam VR Towers on the Grove location from 9/30 - 10/3/2012. We had an excellent time! The check in was smooth and fast. Our King room was superb. The room featured very high end applicances and features. There was also a dishwasher and washer/dryer in the room. The pool area was very nice! It featured a lazy river, slide, tropical aspects and a kid area. The property is located directly on the beach with private access to the beach. Everything was fabulous during my stay. No complaints, no regrets!

ALLURE
NO SECURITY CAMERAS ON SITE OR PARKING DECK
YES.. THIS IS TRUE AND YES I FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY...HAD A MOTORCYCLE STOLEN RIGHT OUT THE PARKING DECK.( WAS TOLD THEY HAVE 24 HRS SECUITY AND THAT OUR BIKES WOULD BE SAFE)...SOO SAD THIS WAS NOT THE CASE.,I REALLY ENJOYED STAYING HERE TIME AFTER TIME, BUT WHEN THE HOTEL MANAGER FAILED TO TLK TO ME THAT MORNING THIS SHOWED ME HOW THEY FEEL ABOUT THERE GUEST, SAFETY,CONCERN AND PROPERTY ..SORRY TOWER'S YOU JUS LOST A LOT OF BUSNIESS FROM ME. FAMILY AND FRIENDS

Great Time Had
A very pleasant experience. It was very clean and up tp date. Everyone was attentive and extremely pleasant. North Myrtle Beach is the place to go for peace and quiet more so than other places in Myrtle Beach. It is too bad that there is not a kiddie pool as people use the lazy river as a kiddie pool which made the lazy river not so lazy. Saw the Good Vibrations show at The Carolina Opry which was most enjoyable and worth seeing.

The IGA up the street has many prepared foods and bake goods are tasty and come in handy especially when lunch time rolls around.

Great Hotel and Value Just A Little Far Away
Hotel was excellent, it's just a little far away from many of the other hotels, which means you can't really walk to any of the restaurants/bars. We took a cab most days which ran about $12 one way. Otherwise the walk is about 30 mins, which isn't horrible, but not exactly ideal either, especially since there's nothing but houses over that 2 mile stretch.

3 Day Stay
This is our second stay at Wyndham Towers on the Grove and we will continue to stay there on our many returns to N. Myrtle Beach. It is close to Cherry Grove so you are out of the 'chaos' of central Myrtle Beach, but still close to everything where you don't feel too far out. The hotel is very well kept, the pools are heated and the beach is clean. No complaints!

If you go to Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, go before 5 o'clock...it may seem early for dinner, but you will still have a slight wait, but no where near the 2-3 hour wait between 5:30-7.

The strip is about 20 minutes from the hotel. So if you want nightlife entertainment you Have to drive to it.

Family Getaway

Fantastic
The room was clean, updated, and had a fantastic view. The bedding was so comfortable I didn't want to get up! There were two pools, one was under consturction but when it is done will have a great kids area. The lazy river was neat too! Staff was friendly. The hallways were clean, warm, and nicely lit. Oh, washer and dryer in the room was an additional treat!
