Super 8 N. Myrtle Beach/Cherry Grove

I was not in the hotel a lot so it was nice for its purpose, to sleep. The staff was very friendly! Only complaint is we asked for a nonsmoking room but it smelled strongly of smoke, maybe the room next door had smokers? Other than that it was a pleasant trip!

The staff were friendly & informative. The pool & hot tub were clean, room was clean , the breakfast was excellent. The hot tub did not have hot water. We will stay again

Went to the beach with our friends. We wised the pool was open later.

My stay would have been more enjoyable if I would have receive the non-smoking room that I requested. [...] I choosed a non-smoking room for health reasons and plus other occupants in the room were non-smokers. My family and I could not take our clothing out of the suitcase because it smelled like smoke. The carpet also smelled like mildew. Housekeeping would try to put something on the carpet and spray the room to get rid of the smell. It didn't work. I must say that housekeeping did their best in trying to keep the room clean in which they did. Also, I was hit with additional charges when I checked in. [...]

My wife and I hiked from North Myrtle Beach almost to Murrell's Inlet and back to North Myrtle over 4 days. **We left our car parked at the Super 8. This was VERY nice of them, and I am grateful. :-) **The staff was very eager to suggest places to visit. :-) **On the 10th, we were awakened VERY early by our neighbor. The staff was kind enough to give us a room away from other guests. :-) **The free breakfast was wonderful. :-) HOWEVER: **We stayed at the Super 8 on January 10 and then again on January 16. The bed linens had not been changed in between. I can't prove it, but it's true. On the 10th, the pillow cases were dirty, and there were several hairs on them that were still there on the 16th. I know the room was rented in between our stays because I found a half-full Coke bottle in the dirty fridge. **The remote control was disgusting -- ink and literal gunk were on it. **The shower was moldy, and the floor needed to be scrubbed. It also needed to be swept -- There was dirt in the corners. **The workout room was a dirty corner of the pool area and had three dilapidated machines. **On the 10th the hot tub and the pool heater were both broken. They were still broken on the 16th.
