North Beach Plantation

This resort was beautiful and very clean. There were several pools and easy access to the beach as well as a spa and restaurants. No need to leave the resort, everything is here.

This hotel is wonderful. The view is spectacular. The pictures do not do these condos justice. You will not be disappointed with this place!

We enjoyed our stay. There were a few things that weren't perfect for us though. We got the 1 Bedroom and of course got put near the elevators and the cafe' on the 3rd floor. That was a bummer because of the noise at night - we could hear everything outside our bedroom- even someone whistling at 3am. Next time, if we can find a good price, we'll get the two bedroom and use the room further away from the entryway. Also, our view was ok but wasn't the best. We were literally at the butt crack of both towers and on the 3rd floor like I said. I prefer a more direct and higher oceanfront view but it honestly wasn't that bad. Our room wasn't as clean as it should have been. We checked in close to 4 so the maid service that everyone pays extra for when they arrive/leave should have been better. The dinning room table had a lot of crumbs left from the previous renters. One of the extra pillows in the closet had a hair on it making us wonder if they were even washed or just put back in the closet. The trash was not emptied when we arrived and the cabinet doors in the kitchen were all open. Nothing too horrible- it all can be explained away. Overall it was a nice place. FYI - the sofa bed was horrible! We pulled it out and layed on it at night so we could have the bigger tv and be comfortable. The tv in our bedroom was tiny. The hotel was beautiful, though.

The view was breath taking on the private balcony. The rooms were spacious and beautiful. Staff was great. Everything was so close to the hotel. Loved the stay, didn't want to leave.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at North Beach Plantation overall. We got an affordable rate which was a plus. The room was beautiful with very tasteful decor. The kitchen had stainless steel appliances and all we needed to feel at home. We stayed oceanfront so the view was wonderful. Our only complaint was in the One Bedroom, the bed is near the entrance instead of near the patio so we could hear noise as other guests got off of the elevator and walked the hallway. We apparently had some late night folks and could hear their loud laughter in the hallway at times. This was momentary and we just kept our TV on to drown out such disruptions. This was our only complaint. We would stay again and get the 2 bedroom which has a bedroom towards the back of the room and near the patio.

We enjoyed an oceanfront vista from our large patio of this deluxe condotel that not only included seeing a pod of dolphins, but also 4 outdoor pools and 4 whirlpools in the outdoor portion of the resort. We loved walking on the deserted beach in the moonlight and topping it off in the outdoor whirlpools. We also played in the indoor lazy river on inner tubes and built sand castles in the clean sand. The condo was luxurious with a full kitchen and 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The Master walked out onto to a large patio and had a spa tub and separate shower. The other bedroom had 2 double beds and a shower tub. It was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. We ate at Hamburger Joe's across the street and caught a movie at the North Myrtle Beach Theatre. Lots of fun!

Great location. I would recommend to couples and families, definitely more than I expected. The condo was fantastic!!!

This is definately a five star place but with a 2 star staff. The room was great, the pool was fantastic but as of Oct 1, the pool bar that they promote so heavily closed and we were not able to order anything while at the pool and would not allow us to bring in a cooler. Very frustrated with staff not willing to accomodate. Also they offered a towel service that did not appear poolside until 3 o'clock in the afternoon on all three days we stayed. The accomodations where great and the restaurant was good, very nice facility and beautiful views. Despite the frustrations, we did have a nice stay but wish sales office could have been more helpful. I would suggest that you ask details before you book your stay!

We loved the room and could not beat the view of the ocean and pools. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful The time we spent at the Spa was worth the money and we would have gone back if we had more time. The only thing missing was a hair dryer, but we did not need it so it really was not a big inconvenience. We found the shopping to be plentiful, as were the places to eat. The grounds are beautiful and there is easy access to the beach as well as great handicapped access or access with small children who can not climb stairs. There were several pools, so fun could be had by all We definitely would go back to this property!
