Not Up to La Quinta Standards
This is a very old, tired hotel. It was cheap for good reason - it really wasn't worth much more. Room was old and drab and had a lot of wear. The walls and ceiling showed many patch jobs and the bathroom also showed much mold staining. The breakfast was subpar even for a freebie and many things were out or broken. Doors latches throughout were broken and ill fitting. I usually love La Quinta's but this one just needs to be torn down and rebuilt which is very unfortunate. Staff was as accomodating as possible but little could help. Sorry La Quinta on this one.

When we first arrived the staff rolled out the red carpet of friendliness. They were helpful but not in the way. The room was clean and the stay was great. It did take a while for the hot water to reach our room and the ice machine on our floor was out of order but this was one of the best stays we've had at the beach.

Perfect Stay!!
I especially enjoyed my stay because the staff was very professional and warm as well as treating their guests with the utmost respect. They were very cordial.

Okay if you're not spending too much time in the room
The staff was very nice and it was great to get free wi-fi, but this hotel is in need of a makeover. Lots of scratches and dings in the paint, cracked tiles and worn linens. For the price it was okay--especially since we only needed a place to spend the night after a concert--but nothing to write home about. I wouldn't want to stay here if I had to spend a lot of time in the room. The best parts were: free wi-fi, microfridge in the room, pleasant and helpful staff. The worst parts: musty smell and needs serious makeover.

weekend vacation getaway
the hotel was very clean, the personel was top rate, they allowed me a very late checkout which worked out great, the breakfast was great for a continental breakfast, I really enjoyed the night spent there it was wonderful. i would recommend this hotel because of the kind staff alone, they also allowed pets. they could improve the sign that leads to their location, kind of hard to find off the main road.

N Myrtle Beach mediocrity
Absolutely no goodies/bonuses at this place, but it was clean and non-smoking. House keeping staff very friendly. "free breakfast" didn't exist. Spent a brief overnight stay, and will marginally consider this property again as a last minute choice.

Clean and comfortable
Everything went fine. Easy check in & out. Our room was very clean, but had a musty odor. Not too bad. I guess I got to breakfast a little late because I could not find even any water to make oatmeal with. All I really wanted was a nice place to sleep and we got that.

Umbeatable location for the price
I really enjoyed my stay at the LaGuinta even my kids enjoyed.The room was clean accept the carpet needed vacuming..But 1 of the housekeepers came in to do it with no problem.Even though it was'nt her room.The beds was a plus,linen was clean,And the bed itself was very comfortable.I would stay there again
