The Breakers Resort

Check in was very easy and the staff was friendly. However locating the motel was a pain. They have about five different hotels and finding the registration building was a headache. Once we made it to the room I was very glad it was only a one night stay. Had we been staying longer, I would have immediately changed motels. The room was half cleaned, the toilet was dirty and the bathroom was tiny. I will not be staying at the Breakers again.

Old, leased building, water shut off mid visit due to owner non-payment. Very disappointing. WIFI never worked.

went to myrtle beach last week. hotel location good, but in the room found two roaches. it was nasty. according to front desk, this was a common thing. rest was so-so.

First night, pulled back the sheets to get into bed and there was urine on the sheet. Took a while to get bed changed. The next day we did not get any linen service. We had no comforters on the bed either. Manager was not pleasant to deal with. Later in the day we finally got the comforters and clean towels. Never was compensated for this. Floors were dirty and I saw fleas as well. Would not stay again.

Maybe this was just a mistake on the housekeeping staff’s part, but I have never been to a hotel without free coffee. I really did not like the fact that my room door was “exposed” to the outside. Anybody could have walked in knock on my door without any interaction with the staff. The HEATER!!! That thing kept on waking me and my wife up every 15 minutes to the point I had to turn it off in the middle of the night and bundle up. Yes, it was loud. They have free parking but good luck finding a spot and they are tight! I wish I pay a little more or even less for a better deal elsewhere. Good location though

Neighbors were loud. Wind blew through the doors which made the area very cold. Had an extra "resort fee" which we have no idea what that would be for. Being in February there wasn't too much to do at the "resort". Asked the staff where the breakfast was and they told us. Found out if we had prepaid at the hotel, we could have saved money. Not sure why they didn't tell us since they told us where to go. One positive, was the view of the ocean.

When I first walked into the room I was disappointed. The carpet was nasty with huge stains. The room had not had a real cleaning probably since it opened. Dust everywhere. The sliding glass door handle came off and I had to call maintenance. The customer service was great. Friendly and accommodating.

The Breakers hotel was ok for the price.[...]The room was an ajoining room so it was small, but it was ok for a short stay.

Hotel was clean and staff was accomodating. This hotel has several locations, and one will want to know which one they will be placed at. All are on the ocean with great views.

just so so but def a deal at the orbitz price were nicer rooms available for additional cost
