Spring Break trip

My experience at this hotel was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was nice, seeing as how there is an indoor and outdoor pool. Met some fellow college students. The room was terrific! Including a mini-kitchen, microwave, fridge, and iron-board and iron. Also there was a balcony with a view of the beach. The bathroom was decent and the tv in the room was also good. The cleaning lady cleaned the room after we left. Overall, amazing experience!

Nightlife tip: Short drive from hotel

Senor Frog is a great nightclub if you're in the younger crowd and looking to meet other college students during Spring Break. Club Boca is also a great place!

Love Love Love!!!

I have been vacationing in Myrtle Beach for 13 years (since I was 10); this is the best hotel for single/people without kids. I have stayed at multiple hotels/resorts and this has been the best experience for me, boyfriend, and mother (on the same vacation). Every afternoon the DJ plays music, which was a nice touch. The DJ plays all types of music which appeals to everyone (anything you ask for). I did not have a problem with anything, even the questions I asked at the front desk. I eve had an issue with parking late one night and they paid the parking ticket without a problem! This is the best resort I have stayed in, in my 13 years. I plan on coming back summer of 2012 as well as buying one of their condominiums.

Nice Value for the off season

Overall received nice value for the money spent. It was off season but we had sunshine. Ocean view room, parking included, good friendly service from everyone. Access to beach. Great location for access to the area. Nice facility for not being the newest on the strip.

Off Season 2011 Christmas

Good location, friendly staff, resonable price (much better than my expectation) Clean, everything in better than average repair. No compaints we had a good relaxing time without the summer crowds. We had an ocean view, easy access to beach and even the weather cooperated. Free garage parking and many eating places all around. The Breakers accomodated a Christmas dinner. Inside pool was nice and operating. Would stay there again.

Overnight getaway

Check in was very easy and the staff was friendly. However locating the motel was a pain. They have about five different hotels and finding the registration building was a headache. Once we made it to the room I was very glad it was only a one night stay. Had we been staying longer, I would have immediately changed motels. The room was half cleaned, the toilet was dirty and the bathroom was tiny. I will not be staying at the Breakers again.

Great holiday weekend vaca!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Breakers Resort from 8/31 to 9/3/11 and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay! It was a quick trip that we put together last minute and we got a great rate through Orbitz for both the hotel and the flight. Our flight got in early and the hotel was able to let us check-in about 3 hours before our actual check-in time. Breakers is located right on the beach which never seems crowded. There is also a lazy river pool (among other pools) that we liked to lounge in. We had breakfast 2 out of 3 mornings across the street at Papa's and the buffet is amazing. Also, the staff over there was so nice! We had drinks and lunch a couple nights and one late night round of drinks at the Red Parrot, located in the same building where our room was. Again, the service there was amazing as well. Our bellhop on arrival day, Will, was very nice and helpful, as were the ladies at the front desk upon our (speedy) check-in. And our housekeeper Doris always kept our room looking great, even if we kept the "do not disturb" tag in until the early afternoon. This was our 3rd time staying at the Breakers and I don't think we'd ever stay anyplace else. I have nothing but great things to say about this place and all those that are employed here!

Don't bother getting a rental car in Myrtle - you don't need it! If you stay at this end of town, there are plenty of restaurants, shopping, and things to do within walking distance. Several piers are very close as is the boardwalk which has TONS of things to do! I would suggest getting a shuttle ride (I'd suggest Myrtle Beach Transportation) from the airport to the hotel and back and doing the rest by either walking or utilizing the Coast RTA bus service if need be (which look like trolley cars!)
