Our property is conveniently located at the south end of Myrtle Beach With 100 Feet of Oceanfront property. We are the only Super 8 that is located directly on the beach offering 16 oceanfront rooms with private balconies/patios and 23 pool view rooms. Newly renovated in 2006. We offer high standard rooms for Super 8 Prices. The ambience of surroundings calm ocean breezes and king courteous staff set us apart from the others so come stay with us. We pride ourselves on clean rooms and quiet environment so you can relax and bask in the sun. Note -There is a 75.00 Refundable Cash Security Deposit Per Person Note -Anyone Checking In Under the Age of 25 is Subject to a 75.00 Dollar Cash Security Deposit Per Person and Everyone in the Room Must be at Least 18 Years of Age. We require a credit or debit card to confirm your reservation and guarantee your room. Any required deposit or pre-payment will be charged to this card immediately. Otherwise your card will be charged before you check-In. Other charges may apply for local amenities like safe warranties and telephone access. Local surcharges or service charges are not included in the total room rate. Local taxes may be additional . We had a good time

We had a good time here, it is very close to the ocean so that was really nice. The room was really clean. Overall we had a good stay.

Rained about the whole time

Hotel is not very grand. Rained about the whole time we were there. We did get out on one evening to Broadway at the beach. The shops and resteraunts were nice. Loved going to Landry's. Good food.

Nothing To Write Home About...

Not much to say... an average room with average amenities. Maybe because of the its location (right on the beachfront) was why the rate was a little high for what I got (in my opinion). WiFi worked okay and the A/C did as well. Not much else to say. Oh yeah... the parking is kinda strange.... very tight for an average size SUV (Acura MDX).

"Me" time trip

I went on vacation by myself to get away. I had a pleasant check in experience even though it was after 10:30 at night when I checked in. The room was clean. I normally have bad experiences when I book hotels but not this one. I have no complaints. Perfect view of the ocean! I plan on staying here again in another week when my husband and I go down.

Gross and Loud

Sheets and pillows smelled like someone else's cologne, like they hadn't been washed (didn't look like they had been either). Stains on carpet. SUPER loud guests everywhere. Updated finishes, but updates don't cover up dirty. Shower curtain smelled very sour and tub appeared grungy.

the good bad and the ugly

the hotel sucked the tv was awfull in not only in our rooms but others also... fuzzy screen, breakfast was sad no bagels and cream cheese , said something about it said they had ran out .... the room was very loud and cost way to much for the way the room looked it was old...no elevartor at all.

Super 8

AC didnt work, asked for a room away from the street and noise and attendant said good luck on that. Bike week and was awake all night with noise from parking lot and street, woke the next morning and found I had no towels, wash clothes, etc, had to go to the front desk to get them myself. Bad choice for a place to stay at this price during this time for sure.

Mildly irritating

Room was spacious and nice. There was no trashcan in room. Next day I asked 3 times to have my room cleaned and it never was but they did finally get me a trashcan. The front desk clerk was always on a cell phone talking on what sounded like a personal call. The breakfast was non-existent. It had been there at one time -- you oould see an inch of milk in the container and an inch of orange juice in the other. One choco chip muffin and 2 stale Krispy Kremes. So if breakfast is important to you don't go here or get there early, it is not replenished. I am going back to Myrtle Beach tomorrow but I will not be staying there.
