Sonesta ES Suites Myrtle Beach

Put in room near pet walk...they allow pets throughouth the hotel so nowhere is safe. We were next door to someone with two large dogs that barked a lot. Stepping outside the door you had to walk through smoke and the smell of poop. The furniture in our room had been clawed or chewed and looked dirty.

hotel was ok, houskeeping DOES NOT make up rooms on the weekend unless requested. we found out after the fact. Breakfast buffet was AMAZING!

We picked the hotel because it was pet friendly; otherwise we would have stayed closer to the beach. The breakfast was not that great; better off just going to the nearby Walmart and picking up some wholesome food and do the cooking yourself. Hotel needs some TLC; depending of who was working the front desk was the service you received. Some days they were more helpful than others. The gym had up to date equipment and in good working condition. All in all everything we did was within minutes of driving, beach (501 South); Broadway (just up 17 North); shopping all over the place, we hit both Tangers; Huntington State Park was pretty cool.

Not far from entertainment and can get antway near the 501/17 split.

Everything from the continental breakfast to the staff was excellent. I felt the price of the hotel was somewhat high but it was convenient to the beach, shopping, etc... I stayed in a one bedroom suite which was very nice except for the bathroom being in the bedroom. But it was just my wife and young son which made it not such a big deal. Other than that, everything else was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay at the Staybridge. It's a great hotel for the price. It's easy to get to the hotel. The quality of the rooms is very good, and the breakfast buffet was better than most.

I looked online at the pictures of the hotel and said to myself that it was not going to be that great. I was wrong, it was excatally what the pictures showed and more. I loved that they had a happy hour on Thursdays nights and the breakfast was good eating. The room was perfect for 2 people and location was great. Even-though the Park was closed down behind it, it was only minutes to the beach. Great location, Great service, Great time, Great hotel. When I go back I will be staing here again!!!

Hotel was very nice, clean & convenient. Only complaint I would have is that when we went to the front desk for assistance, we stood & waited for quite awhile most times.

Hotel staff was very helpful in finding a dry cleaner that could press a bridesmaid dress on short notice. Other than a old sock under one of the beds, the suite was very clean and well stocked.

I enjoyed everything about the hotel except for not having an indoor pool. Other then that it was a great stay. Looking forward to my next getaway. Loretta(Atlanta, Ga.)
