Memorial Day getaway
hotel was ok, houskeeping DOES NOT make up rooms on the weekend unless requested. we found out after the fact. Breakfast buffet was AMAZING!

Great staff, easy access to the airport
Hotel staff was very helpful in finding a dry cleaner that could press a bridesmaid dress on short notice. Other than a old sock under one of the beds, the suite was very clean and well stocked.

Staybridge Myrtle Beach is
The facility, personnel, meals, amenities, services, were all "perfect"! Truly!! The room was a suite with small kitchenette, full fridge, microwave, sink, dishwasher, pots & pans, dishes, silverware, etc. Free shuttle service for pickup/dropoff. Personnel were unbelievably friendly, helpful, courteous. They really treat you like family. They give you lots of tips as to things to see & do in the area. Breakfast options were huge & varied each day, & extremely good tasting. They have nightly meals (each Tue, Wed & Thurs @ 5:30) with free beer & wine & great food. It goes on & on as to all that was good about this hotel. It is really tough to pick one part that stood out but I think the personnel were as good as you'll find anywhere. They'll do anything for you to make your stay enjoyable. The positives go on & on! We'll certainly return to this Staybridge!!

Short drive from hotel
A car is a requirement as everything is a "drive". No buses & cab fare is about @2.80 a mile. There is certainly plenty to do in Myrtle Beach (about 7 miles away) but all attraction & shopping areas are at least 1+ miles away. Nothing is really walkable except the Medievel Tournament Show.

Hotel was very nice, clean & convenient. Only complaint I would have is that when we went to the front desk for assistance, we stood & waited for quite awhile most times.

Pooch Motel
We picked the hotel because it was pet friendly; otherwise we would have stayed closer to the beach. The breakfast was not that great; better off just going to the nearby Walmart and picking up some wholesome food and do the cooking yourself. Hotel needs some TLC; depending of who was working the front desk was the service you received. Some days they were more helpful than others. The gym had up to date equipment and in good working condition. All in all everything we did was within minutes of driving, beach (501 South); Broadway (just up 17 North); shopping all over the place, we hit both Tangers; Huntington State Park was pretty cool.

Trully Wonderful
I looked online at the pictures of the hotel and said to myself that it was not going to be that great. I was wrong, it was excatally what the pictures showed and more. I loved that they had a happy hour on Thursdays nights and the breakfast was good eating. The room was perfect for 2 people and location was great. Even-though the Park was closed down behind it, it was only minutes to the beach. Great location, Great service, Great time, Great hotel. When I go back I will be staing here again!!!
