Visiting Son

This was my second stay at Sandcastle. The hotel is perfect in location and is always clean. It could use some upgrades like new tv (larger), new carpets, and more substantial shower curtain. Overall though, I enjoy my stay at Sandcastle and would definitely recommend it. The price is great!

Ok; Inexpensive

My room was comfortable & the beds were clean & fresh. The staff at the front desk was VERY nice! My view of the ocean was good, too. The pool & lazy river are both nice & well maintained. Considering the value for the money, I would recommend this resort. You need to bring your hair dryer & clock radio with you, as they are not standard in the rooms. But, not a big deal. After all, you're not going to the ocean to stay in the room, right?

When you go to the beach to swim, be sure to have those 'swimming shoes', as it's VERY gravelley once you step into the water, & VERY hard on your feet! You'll be glad you brought those shoes along!! You can grab a pair at K Mart for around $5.

Amazing Time!!

I had the greatest experience. This was my first "by my self" vacation, and was taken care of by the amazing staff. From check-in to check-out, not one complaint. The room was so clean and the view... couldn't have asked for better. Thank you for such a great experience. Everything was within walking distance. Great!

Good Beachfront for the price

The hotel was good for a beach front stay. The restaurant/bar was way too pricey ($16 for an omelet and juice). Not a problem because a wonderful and inexpensive breakfast buffet is across the street. The Pool and pool bar were good and had a good layout for a family. The hotel can use some maintenance. But the room was ok for 3.5 stars.

What A Great Place To Stay!

The hotel's location was wonderful. Very close to attractions, airport and many restaurants! Did not need a rental car and taxis were very reasonable. The hotel was clean, the outside pool and lazy river were great! Access to the ocean was right there and the employees were very helpful! The cabana bar was nice to sit and enjoy a drink with the marvelous surroundings! Would suggest visiting Broadway On The Beach and don't miss the fabulous fireworks over the ocean. Will absolutely stay here again the next trip to Myrtle Beach!

Great location, great fun

Location was great on the oceanfront with balcony looking out to the ocean. If you are looking for a place to relax in peace this probably isn't the place for you but then neither probably is Myrtle Beach itself. If you are looking to have some fun, chill on the beach and don't want to spend a fortune then this place fits the bill. The hotel itself is generally average and dated in terms of decor but really it is just a place to base yourself, the joy of Myrtle is getting out there and enjoying as many of the activities on offer as possible or just chilling in the sun.

There's loads to do within walking distance with Myrtle Beach's Boardwalk located a short way up the beach.
