River Oaks

The location was great, close to a lot of things. The unit was really spacious but needed a lot of updating. The carpet and the funrniture have to go. The door to the unit was so dirty and the carpet ripped. Housekeeping should do a better job also. All the corners of the unit were dirty. No activites for kids, except for a small pool. We spent all of our days out. Nothing like the pictures on the website.

We stayed in a spacious 3bdrm unit at The Fairways (unit 30A) with a great view of the golf course. Out stay was not pleasant. The staff gave us the wrong keys so we had to make another trip to the realty office.The TV remote did not work in the living room.There were no clothes hangers or extras trash bags. The beds/cement blocks we had to sleep on were pathetic. The king bed was actually 2 twin cement blocks pushed together. Even our 2 and 3 yr old kids complained about how hard the beds were. Myrtle Beach was great but I would not stay here again.

This is a great location only about 4-5 minutes away from Ocean Blvd. The accommodations were nice...great for family travel or a group of couples, as the location had 3 bedrooms. Suggested improvements: WiFi in the actual condo (WiFi available in the sales office) and front desk staff could be a bit more pleasant.

It was a good quiet location, bed looked huge, pulled sheets back, and noticed dark stain, couldnt get anybody to bring clean sheets entire stay... Bed happened to be 2 beds put together, which was very akward to sleep on, My fiance and I ended up sleepin sideways just to sleep somewhat confortable the 2 nights we stayed.

The accomodations were fine. They were neat & spacious. The master bedroom had 2 twin beds pushed together which was both disappointing & uncomfortable. Front desk staff had 2 friendly clerks & 1 nasty woman who was rude, curt & snide. There was no wi-fi which, to me, is ridiculous!

Not sure on staff, no issues, so no one was needed. Condo was nice, the "king" bed was funny-2 twins, but we were already prepared for that based on other reviews. For the money, great place. Unfortunately, too cold to enjoy spring break at the beach.

Initially, I had to request the floors to be mopped and swept on arrival.. It looked like that was missed. The hot water was not working effectively. The staff returned to fix it twice during the stay. Unfortunately, to accomplish desired activities, we had to shower in cold water.

The resort was really nice. Close to highways and attractions.

Great place to stay. Clean and in good shape. Very roomy and quiet. The only drawback is no internet access. If they get internet next year, I'll stay again. Otherwise, I'll look for a different place.
