You get what you pay for
It was a nice location & we loved being on the beach. The accommodations were OLD. It was very nice to have a kitchen, but the fridge was rusty, two cabinet doors remained half open & wouldn't close. I felt like I wanted to clean the room more myself. Housekeeping came, but didn't leave any towels. The bathroom fan didn't do it's job at all. The TV remote had problems 3 times...one time was our fault for pushing the wrong button, another they said was because we had it too close to a cell phone or computer, another time HOUSEKEEPING caused the easy-to-do problem, but she just unplugged the TV, never reporting it. Internet access was difficult-kept going down. We probably won't return.

Mixed reviews...
Be sure to ask for an updated unit. We did not know that there were different units available--ours was very outdated (read: practically falling apart) and in desperate need of a facelift--carpet was so old I didn't dare walk on it without shoes and the kitchen was just gross and not even well stocked in terms of dishes (three bowls--really??). We didn't know any different until we saw a unit next to ours open for housekeeping--granite countertops and brand new kitchen--very very different from ours. Also, business center is variable--the hotel had NO internet connection at all two days--wifi was spotty and so was even cell reception. Our housekeeping was cheerful but we had to ask multiple times for towels, they never ever refilled the tissue dispenser, and we nearly ran out of toilet paper. I complained about all of these things at the front desk and got a perfunctory "we're so sorry. Have a nice flight!" I would not stay here again. Ever.

Last minute trip
This was a last min trip we were taking and wanted to take our dog. It is a pet friendly hotel that is right on the beach. The hotel staff was extremely friendly including in the restaurant. The hotel itself well it left much to be desired. The parking is across the street in a deck which is super tight to try and drive thru it. Trying to cross the street with the traffic was hectic. If you want to use a cart to take your luggage up it is not something you can just find. You have to have someone help you from the staff then of course you are obligated to tip them. The elevators were soo slow and there are only 3 in a 19 floor hotel. The room was very humid, the air did not cool the room very well. We had a 2 double bed room and one of the headboards were falling off the wall on one side, the TV was old and there was buttons missing including the power button. The chairs outside looked a little moldy. The bathroom had a new countertop and floor and looked like tub but the pedastal of the sink needed som serious work. The sheets on the bed were scratchy and cheap. This was a last minute trip so it worked but I wouldn't stay at this place again. It was too crowded too much traffic and congestion.

Sufficient
A decent hotel. Parking is across the street in a parking garage. Not overly convenient and at night it can be a little scary. Pay a few bucks and use the valet option. The room was clean. The balconies with ocean views are nice but offer no privacy as you can almost reach out to dozens of guests on their balconies. Your blinds always have to stay closed. There is great dining in the area and would recommend the Captains Lounge for breakfast. This is also a pet friendly hotel so be prepared to see yippee dogs. Overall for the budget it's sufficient.

Not Good
Do not believe what you see on the website. The condition of the hotel is very poor, its more like a motel than a hotel. It overly priced for its true value. They need to stop using old photos to lure customers. The carpet was disgusting and the bed sheet had holes. The closet mirror was cracked and the base board was ripped of the wall. We also had a problem opening the door. The room smelled like a dog house because they allow pets. Not everyone's pet is clean. The couch was on terrible condition, it looked like it was worn out from sweat and smelled like it.

good location
when arriving there was onl 1 person handling everyone, which was sad because the other 2 staff members were standing there gossiping and black guy an a caucasain female , they didnt even bother to help this young lady. any ways I checked into my room it was filthy it smelled very bad like mold and ciggerettes, I called they accomadated me and moved me to another room, this had that same smell and it was dirty the cainets were falling apart the bathroom had hair on the floor. the hotel on the outside looks lovely but inside it sucked. I stayed in this hotel 2 times before previus years and it wa so much better then what it is now. they really need to take some pride and fix it up. I am a travel agent how an I recommend this hotel to my clients if its not up to par. hopeffully the management reads these reviews and does something about it.

Kinda Disappointing
Oceanfront view, 5th floor, Room 526, balcony on front and side of corner efficiency, double beds... awesome views! Small 3-drawer dresser/TV stand to be shared by all. Could use another dresser or larger one for there is room for it. 1980's Kitchen screamed updating along with the bathroom. Door to the front balcony was really hard to open. Beds were uncomfortable, take your pillow for theirs were made out of small pieces of foam...bad, bad, bad. Two pillows per bed. My nephew and niece stayed next to us, Room 528, and the kitchen and bathroom were nicely updated. Restaurant food was a little below average, so we only ate there once for dinner. No DVD, so the movies we brought did not get played. Luggage carts only come with bellboys, so have tip money in hand, and expect to wait for their help. Outdoor hottub only had half of the jets working, and not very well. Only 3 had hot water coming out, the rest had cold water. Parking is just across the street in a garage. Stayed 1 week.
