Family favorite in the heart of Myrtle Beach

The Patricia Grand Resort Hotel is a beachfront hotel tailor made for extended-stay vacationers, particularly families and guests whose agenda calls for teeing off in the area's 100-plus golf courses. Enjoyed Our Stay

We really enjoyed our stay there and appreciate the fact that it's dog friendly because this has kept us from going to Myrtle Beach in the past. If we can get good rates, we will stay there again. Sincerely, Don

terrible hotel

Ocean front door would not open... stove burners needed work... heater was very noisy... remodeling the entirs lobby, did not know about that it was awful. no ice machine on any floor worked.. beds wore out.......... telephone did not work I could go on.............

okay for one night

hotel was doing renovations in lobby, hammering noises all day, station restaurant food was good, room was nice with view of ocean but room price should have been lower for guests to have to endure construction....we stayed second night at the ocean isle inn a little bungalow on the ocean away from the busy tourist area...priceless

great family weekend getaway

Enjoyed our stay...under renovations but it wasnt a problem...close to north myrtle beach which we enjoy...However would only stay here in the off season..would be too hectic in the summer but if that doesnt bother u then its a really nice place

Worst Hotel in Myrtle Beach

We got there and went to our room which was next to rooms being renovated. The rooms were filthy. I asked for the sheets which were black with dirt to be changed and the tub which was also black to be cleaned and also the filthy towels to be changed. They wouldn't do it. I ended up cleaning the tub myself. We were woken up each morning to banging and hammering at 7:30 in the morning on our vacation. I talked to the front several times about these issues and I didn't get a good response. They didn't even have the indoor pool working in September. I called the manager and all they did was refund one nights stay of a long stay which was the cheapest night we stayed. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Don't go to this hell hole.

Good Deal

Check-in went fine. The room was smaller than many, but more that big enough for the two of us. The staff were all cheerful and attentive to our needs. We used the indoor pool/lazy river, and 3 hot tubs. The room had a nice view of the ocean. There is a good beach at the hotel. There is a good sized parking garage for guests acrosss the street, but since it was off season, we parked on the street. Will probably stay there the next time in Myrtle Beach. The entire hotel is non-smoking. For the price, it is a very good deal.

There is an excellent restaurant arround the corner from the hotel - New York Prime. Everything was excellent, but the prices were high. You get what you pay for. Inexpensive food is available at many drive thru windows.
