How sweet it is!
We are retired and live in Roanoke, VA. About twice a year we visit Myrtle Beach and enjoy the beach, warm ocean water, shopping, seafood, tours, and a play or two. The 17th Ave North location is very convenient for evening outtings and for our morning and evening walks along the beach or on the newly completed boardwalk to the 3rd avenue pier restaurant and newly constructed second floor bar. Our ocean front efficiency room was clean, the beds were comfortable, lighting for reading or playing cards was good, and the terrace view of the full moon and Jupiter in the evening sky was spectacular. Bathroom was small but adequate. TV program guides should be available to reduce "channel surfing".

Show performers are typically excellent. Must see for children and adults are the sensational Chinese acrobats/gymnists at the Palace.

Unbeatable location for the price.
The rooms were excellent based on the price I paid. The only complaint my husband and I had was the odd smell. The staff tried very hard to make our stay enjoyable. They came in to clean the room again after we complained about the smell. The manager said the hotel was flooded at one point which probably caused the smell. The room had a full kitchen and an awesome view!

Great Stay
This was a wonderful hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had an ocean front effiecency and it was wonderful! Room was clean. Had great balcony. Older hotel so not everything was nice and new but was a wonderful place to stay and relax. I would def recommend the oceanfront as the "oceanview" are side rooms and you don't really get a good view. Also would try to make sure didn't stay on first three floors as not alot of privacy.

"Unbeatable location for the price"
It was an all around good trip. I wish it wasnt for work but it was nice. There were things I wanted to do so I will probably go back for vaction.

Great New Years get away.

Great Stay
The hotel was great the only issue was at check in you had to go to another hotel to check in because they close the front desk for the season. Other than that all was fine.

Excellent Stay at an Excellent Price
The hotel lobby was closed for the season so we had to walk next door if we needed anything but we love to walk anyways. The rooms were very-well maintained and cleaned. We stayed in several different rooms at this hotel and all were in great shape. There were two hot tubs, two pools, a small gym, laundry/game room. Very pleased with out stay here. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful except a couple kids working the front desk who openly complained about having to answer phones and such.

Clean room!!
