Palmetto Shores Oceanfront Hotel

Convenient to everything. Room had a full kitchen which was not expected. Partial view room had a great view.

Everything went well, but house keeping could have been more consistant. The staff was nice but they did take forever checking us into our room.

Very nice and clean. Staff friendly. Will stay again.

Me and my boyfriend went here..At first the lady was rude when we were checking in and I had to call the place we booked our hotel to.. to confirm my reservation..I was aggravated..But great hotel! Great location.

Perfect location on the beach... Enjoyed the room and the view... Very relaxing.

Because we went there not in the season we were upgraded to the ocean front room. It was very clean and very nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I forgot to say that it would be great for family because they had fully equipped kitchen.

The location of this hotel was excellent. We were able to park the car and walk to most restaurants, stores and it was on the beach. The pool was small, right in the lobby, and the hot tub was big enough for maybe two people. We ended up not using the pool but we did have options on using the pool next door and two hotels down. The rooms were small, clean, and had a fridge, microwave, and stove. All of which worked. Beds were in good shape. Nice flat screen television. I personally wouldn't stay there again because it was loud and crowded. If you are looking for somewhere to just sleep and eat but enjoy the beach all day this is for you.

Didn't have hot water, but room was nice.Location was nice and ocean front room was a great view. Good room for the money.

It was okay. It was a little noisy at first. The room was also outdated. But nice by the water.

There is an endless list of complaints I have about Palmetto Shores and I highly advise you to not stay here. First off, the front end staff was rude, dismissive, and very unhelpful. We never received any of the room service we asked for. Even when requesting cups and tissues several times and asking if we were going to receive them, they never came. The hotel is in terrible condition. No pool towels, the hot tub was cold and disgustingly dirty with link, hairballs, tampons, and dirt, the shower curtain rod was broken so the curtain wouldn't stay closed, we were missing lightbulbs, the appliances were older than we were, the television was awful, and mid-stay our key reader on our door broke and we were unable to get into our room while maintenance fumbled to try to fix it. Our entire stay maintenance was fixing rooms and painting interior rooms. We were not given the room we booked and we were not allowed to switch even though they were empty, the room we were put in was extremely small, you could not even move with two people in the room. The elevators sound like they are going to break everytime they move and the rail inside one fell off during our stay. NO WIFI, NO BREAKFAST. The workout machines were all rusted, with broken button, and just falling apart. The stairmaster would not even turn on. Everything was extremely outdated and dangerous looking. We were not told about the free breakfast which is included and were not given the vouchers for the entire week, we found out at the end of our stay and by that time did not feel welcome in the hotel to ask for the coupons. The rudeness of the staff and the inability to get helped was very irritating during our vacation, we did not feel comfortable going near the staff because of their rudeness. The location was the only positive aspect of this hotel. I will never ever stay at Palmetto Shores again or book at any associated hotels because of this awful experience. The hotel was absolutely a downfall of our vacation. ENJOY YOUR VACATION AND DO NOT STAY HERE.
