Better than expected!
We came not expecting crowds or lots of things to do, we wanted to get away, walk on the beach and have a pleasant time. We did all three, hotel, clean, furnishings good, view, great!

Early January in Myrtle Beach- dead, all shows closed down, we did enjoy back to back IMAX productions and wandering around the shops, many of them closed.

Not Bad for the price
Off season we had an oceanfront room on the sixth floor. Not the newest hotelroom I have ever stayed in, but clean and adequate for our needs. The room had a kitchenette, which we did not take advantage of as we were only staying the night. Watching the sunrise in the early morning was definately memorable. Worth the price...atleast off season!

hotel nice
The hotel was just right for what we needed. Room was clean. Sevice was very good. ( we had trouble with one of the doors and the staff was there in 5min and fixed the problem)If you are looking for a place to just sleep and have a hot clean shower, this is it.

Great Location!
Beautiful ocean front view! We were very close to the convention center where we had to be all weekend -- and Broadway at the Beach. It was freezing so we couldn't enjoy the beach or pools ... the indoor pool was small and crowded so we passed. The room was nice and clean and the staff was very nice. Not as fancy as some other MB hotels I have stayed in -- but I have no complaints.

Nice Bargain
When I checked in it was pretty busy but the front desk handled it ok. Having prior hotel experience i know how it can get sometimes! The front desk only had a first floor room available which turned out to be ok once I realized there wasn't an elevator(I didn't see one). [...]also advertises this hotel as having smoking rooms but they are 100% SMOKE FREE. The hotel was pretty much in the middle of the strip. My husband and I had just gotten married so it was nice to take a nice walk on the beach then grab a bite to eat. The front desk was really helpful with providing information on local clubs. We got free tickets to club Kryptonite but there wasn't really any action so we wen to Thee Doll House strip club right next door. Couples got in free so it worked out! Back to the hotel, it had a nice flat screen television and the room also had a balcony. The water pressure in the shower was a little low and the shower curtain wasn't able to close all the way. We also got free breakfast for 2 when we booked the room. the breakfast was located across the street at a restaurant. The buffet was delicious and the service was excellent. The room didn't have Wi-Fi which was a major downer. All in all I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Myrtle Beach!!!
