Great Location!
Beautiful ocean front view! We were very close to the convention center where we had to be all weekend -- and Broadway at the Beach. It was freezing so we couldn't enjoy the beach or pools ... the indoor pool was small and crowded so we passed. The room was nice and clean and the staff was very nice. Not as fancy as some other MB hotels I have stayed in -- but I have no complaints.

The room was clean, the cooridors are very noisy, good water pressure, didn't like the extra fees THEY added when I arrived. 12.00 per room per night.... And we had to park way out in a parking lot that had no security and security lights. Didn't like leaving my tools and vans out there..

Palmetto Shores Oceanfront was Great!!!
We took a weekend trip to Myrtle Beach and decided to give the Palmetto Shores Oceanfront Hotel a try. We were very pleased with the facility and staff - They were quite helpful and the place was very clean, and even pleased my wife who has OCD when it comes to cleanliness. We have visited MB numerous times, and this Hotel was by far the best one we have stayed at, and we have decided to make this hotel the one of choice for future trips. It was convienently located, had great beach access, quite a variety of pools to choose from, and the "Rise and Shine" breakfast deal can't be beat. The breakfast buffet was very good. We will return!

No frills but a clean place to stay.
We arrived late (11 pm)so there was only one person at the desk. But she was friendly and was working as quickly as possible to get people checked in. We only stayed a couple of nights, long enough for our daughter to see the nearby university, so we did not use the featured pools. It was off season, so too cold to use the outdoor pools. The fitness room was small but included a treadmill, elliptical machine and a pulley weight machine with a TV to watch while exercising. It was walking distance to the Convention Center and Boardwalk. The breakfast included with the rooms was great! It included all you can eat: fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, bagels, grits, cereal, french toast, hashbrowns, juice, coffee, milk and chocolate milk

I took a suntan, I saw an exibition of classic cars, went to the Brodway, ate there and watched a movie, and the next day I went to the Market Common.

Good location for the price
The location was great right in the middle of our activity. Upkeep looked constant and the personnel were friendly and helpful. Not a first class place but a great place to stay for value!

Hotel staff was pretty good, room was excellent although t=it said partial ocean view our balcony view was of the hotel next door and we had to lean over the side and crank our heads to see the ocean.
