Had a great week

For the first two days of our stay we had to be let into our room by employees because there key making system was down. HUGE inconvenience. However, our ocean front room had a wonderful view and the hotel location was great. We were able to walk to dinner and shops. The housekeeping was terrible. They didnt come to empty garbage or bring us any towels we had to call the front desk FOUR times until someone finally brought us some. The room was out dated and did not smell the best.

The only thing wrong with the hotel room was the AC and it leaked water if the back door was left open. But as for everything else the room was great. Very clean. For $74 a night we got 4 beds, full bathroom, full kitchen, living room, 2 tvs, washer/dryer, and ocean front, on the ocean it was a great deal.

The hotel was better than what expected and the staff was very friendly.Our room was ocean front but the down fall was we were on the 1st floor so really couldn't enjoy the ocean view.The rooms were very clean but not too quite.Our room was at the door and the elevator so we heard everything!!When we got there we had to pay a $35 resort fee which we knew about but then they told us we had to pay a secuirty deposit of $50 on credit card or $100 cash!!! No mention of this anywhere but the good thing is u get it back when u check out.So on to the other issues.On monday their key cards were not working at all so each time we left the room we had to get a staff member to let us back in.This went on till Thursday morning.Such an incovenience. The next thing is during our stay we never had housekeeping. For some reason they kept ignoring our room.We had to ask for clean towels on Wednesday and they made a note in the system to check our room.Thursday came and still nothing.We had towels piling up and not to mention the trash.Friday came and finally my husband went back to the front desk and advised them again.They just looked and asked "what is it that u need??" I mean seriously people do your job lol anyway they finally sent someone,they got the towels the trash and were supposed to have changed the sheets on the 3rd day but they just made the bed.But I guess apparenlty that didnt matter because we were checking out the next day.So other than those 2 incidents we did have fun on vacation visiting Ripley's Aquarium,WonderWorks(not worth it),shopping and just sun bathing.Some of the pools are a little outdated but they have like 6 and 3 hot tubs.I would've gave this hotel a higher rating but just can't get passed the key cards and no housekeeping but other than that it was well worth the money.

Great location, easy walk to boardwalk area, food,fun. Room old, but clean. Pool areas clean. Maid didn't come in and make the beds. Right on the beach, and that is what I really wanted. If you are looking for cheap but clean, this is it. Older, but not a dump. Full refrigerator, small microwave, flat screen tv. Not real large rooms, but wasnt in room much anyway. Beds were comfy.

We stayed here in September and the service was good then. This time we had to wait 2 hours before our room was ready. No service was done to our room the five days we were there. No trash emptied or towels or anything. We requested service twice and still nothing. Will not stay there again. Saw a roach in our room the last day.

I went to Myrtle Beach while on a vacation. My hotel stay was horrible. Walking into the lobby to check in, the front desk was on the phone for personal use. I used to lobby restroom there was no toilet paper the floor was soaking wet, and it was filthy in there, after I told someone at the front, they pretty much ignored the fact... Upon check in the room key machine was down (which is ok things happen) ... my whole stay I did not receive a room key in order to get to my room I had to go to the front desk and wait for a maintenance guy to let me in (not a quick process. Went for a run in the morning thinking the front desk would be able to let me in my room... No one was at the front desk till 7am when I asked the night before and they said someone is there 24 hrs. There was hair in my sink and the towels had stains on them. The hotel was a good price, but guess you get what you pay for. Id suggest spending the extra couple bucks.

I thought the standard for a hotel room was at least a queen size bed. No way here. We had a double bed. Their suite pull out was a twin size. Also, How can a hotel get away with no elevator on the street level? My 85 year old Mother walking with a tripod cane had to go up 8 steps to get to a landing that took you to the elevator. A lady checking in with a walker was in the same situation. No Handicap accessiblity!! The houskeeping was bringing in the linen with two people pulling the clean linen cart up the same stairs.

First day when we arrived, they did not have a clean room available for us. We had to wait about 2 hours for someone to clean our room to check in. It is ridiculous that we made a reservation to check in at 3 but they weren't ready for another 2 hours. It is breaking a promise between the hotel and their customers. While we stayed there for 4 nights and 5 days they DID NOT clean our room once and we had to go down to the front desk to get towels and toilet paper daily. When we complained to the front desk staff, the respond they gave us was that we should talk to the cleaning staff for our selves. Sorry, that is not my job that is YOUR JOB. We were supposed to get free breakfast vouchers when we check in but they forgot and didn't give to us. We missed the first day of free breakfast and had to pay for it. When we were checking out we complained about their terrible service, the staff took our number and names. HOWEVER, the manager never called us for 2-3 days. We called them to see what was going on, the manager rudely hung up on us about 4-5 times. This was the worst service that I've ever received. [...] They do not deserve 3.5 stars rating. Do not stay there because they ruined our vacation.
