hotel nice
The hotel was just right for what we needed. Room was clean. Sevice was very good. ( we had trouble with one of the doors and the staff was there in 5min and fixed the problem)If you are looking for a place to just sleep and have a hot clean shower, this is it.

Great Location!
Beautiful ocean front view! We were very close to the convention center where we had to be all weekend -- and Broadway at the Beach. It was freezing so we couldn't enjoy the beach or pools ... the indoor pool was small and crowded so we passed. The room was nice and clean and the staff was very nice. Not as fancy as some other MB hotels I have stayed in -- but I have no complaints.

Nice Bargain
When I checked in it was pretty busy but the front desk handled it ok. Having prior hotel experience i know how it can get sometimes! The front desk only had a first floor room available which turned out to be ok once I realized there wasn't an elevator(I didn't see one). [...]also advertises this hotel as having smoking rooms but they are 100% SMOKE FREE. The hotel was pretty much in the middle of the strip. My husband and I had just gotten married so it was nice to take a nice walk on the beach then grab a bite to eat. The front desk was really helpful with providing information on local clubs. We got free tickets to club Kryptonite but there wasn't really any action so we wen to Thee Doll House strip club right next door. Couples got in free so it worked out! Back to the hotel, it had a nice flat screen television and the room also had a balcony. The water pressure in the shower was a little low and the shower curtain wasn't able to close all the way. We also got free breakfast for 2 when we booked the room. the breakfast was located across the street at a restaurant. The buffet was delicious and the service was excellent. The room didn't have Wi-Fi which was a major downer. All in all I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Myrtle Beach!!!

Everything it is so much to do in Myrtle Beach,and we only had a weekend so i suggest for anybody that go,stay longer!

Unbeatable location for the price
It was very enjoyable. We loved sitting in the swing watching the ocean and the other guests swimming & playing in the waves. We went to the Imax 3D movie " Born To Be Wild", then went to the aquarium to see the sharks. All in all it was a great 3 days.

Enjoyable vacation for a great price!!!
I booked with the Palmetto Shores for a great rate [...]. The room and location were ideal. We were oceanfront and only a few blocks from the boardwalk. We had a kitchenette that included a fridge, microwave, and stove. Dishes and utensils were even included. The hotel had three separate pools, providing flexibility for couples or families. One was more family oriented and another deeper pool for swimming. The hotel was right on the ocean and featured ammenties such as shuffle board, a workout room, and a cafe/bar. The cafe/bar was located across the street and hosted a reasonable breakfast bar. The rooms were clean, staff was friendly and accomodating, and parking was close. We were able to enjoy a relaxing vacation at the beach without spending a fortune. I would definitely recommend the Palmetto Shores Oceanfront for anyone looking for a fun vacation without breaking the bank!
