The Ocean Reef Resort boasts efficiencies and condos with full kitchens and plays an active role in entertaining its guests. Great family vacation
I had a wonderful experience at this resort. The staff was great and helpful. The view of the beach from the balcony was beautiful. I would stay here again in the future.

Great Value
The Ocean Reef was in a great location and felt we had a great room with wonderful view for the money. We enjoyed having the small kitchen also to prepare some of our own meals. We also enjoyed the hot tub and lazy river. We talked about returning and bringing 2 of our granchildren next time.

great customer service
The Crown Reef Resort had a great family atmosphere. The staff was very friendly,but the dining staff even went beyond. They were fantastic. The view from the ocean front room made you feel like you were on a cruise ship. A great place to stay!

Excellent weekend getaway, great staff
The Ocean Reef Resort exceeded my expectations. The room was very nice with beautiful patio oceanview. The room was also very comfortable and large with two queen beds, a big chair, desk with chair, nice TV, and a good space for hanging clothes.The location was great for the event I was attending. The staff was more than friendly and helpful. I loved being able to have oceanview or poolside breaksfast, lunch or dinner. The pools and the whirlpool was very nice.

myrtle beach vacation
the ocean reef resort was very comfortable, the room was very spacious and the layout of the room was very nice. the beds were very comfortable except for the sheets not fitting correctly. the pools were extremely well kept up and i like the fact that the water was kept up with salt instead of chlorine. the water in the shower was a little to handle for the fact that you had to put it almost off to get any cold out of it. the location was perfect for us right on the water. would i stay here again, i would have to say yes i would. the price for the room was right on for the room.

Economical and everything we needed
Wonderful beach view, and the room was more than what we expected! The bedroom was separate from bathroom, something I was impressed with. Location was excellent

Very nice hotel
The ocean reef in myrtle beach was a wonderful place to stay. The ocean view was great. I liked it so much that we dropped one of our nights in Hilton Head sc and came back north and stayed another night brfore we left. The staff was very friendly and let us check in early because our flight was an early morning arrival. AAAA+++++++++++++++++++++ in my book

Very relaxing
The Ocean Reef Resort was very relaxing and it is a place that I plan to stay in the near future with family and friends. The bedroom was a nice size and comfortable. The kitchen was perfect and the living room area was enjoyable. The area were the Resort is located is very nice.

There is a indoor/outdoor pool for family fun. There is a recreational area were you can enjoy playing air hockey, checkers and chess. You can also walk a short distance to the beach area.

Great Off-season resort
We took our family (5 months, 5 yrs, 12 yrs, 15 yrs) and everyone had a great time. The one bedroom condo for us was great...the full kitchen allowed us to cook every meal to save money from going out...full furnished and a dishwasher. The water park/pool options are wonderful...we spent most of our time there. All are heated, a few enclosed from the weather and LOTS of fun for the kids. Since most of the pools are around 3 feet for most of it, it was perfect depth for the kids. Definitely an affordable, fun vacation for the kids...no matter what the weather outside is outside. We like to travel off-season when the weather is cooler and not so crowded so this was idea. Highly recommend for families with kids who love to play in the pool!!

My review of Ocean Reef Resort
The Ocean Reef Resort at Myrtle Beach provided a wonderful late fall getaway. My wife and I had a long weekend on a cold snap in November. The price of our room was half of what I was expecting and the room was nicer than what I was ?braced? for. The staff was welcoming and competent. They provided an oceanfront room on the 15th floor with a great view. The kitchenette was nice with a refrigerator, range, sink and microwave. Easy access directly to the beach, indoor pool and lazy river were nice. It was too cool for the outdoor pools, but they were beautiful. Driving time was quick to everywhere we ventured to. This was a great overall experience.

A nice comfortable hotel with condo style rooms and views of the ocean. Right out the back door is the beach. Nice spot. You can walk either way up the beach for miles.
