it was ok had a good time

The hotel was really excellent. For the price we paid, you could not have found a better hotel. The only problems were minor. For example, in our room the AC never turned off. We think perhaps the thermostat was bad, but we adjusted knowing that. Also, there were some minor repairs that could have been done to make it look better. Above the beds there were some spots on the wall where they patched some holes. Some attention to detail would really make this hotel shine. Fix the little things. The service was great and the rooms were clean. I loved the pool, hot tub and beach access.

good location, next to the beach

this was a good location , easy to walk to shops and restaurants, rooms were neat and clean, staff was friendly and we were able to take our 15lb. dog. Great view of the ocean!!

The staff was very friendly, and it was a good location. We went out eating and shopping.

Hotel was on the beach which was very nice with easy access. The main reason we stayed there was they accept pets. Worse part was 2 elevators for all rooms and usually was a long wait for them. The one bedroom suite was nice with balcony overlooking the ocean. A full kitchen with refridge, stove and micro was also a nice feature.

The hotel was ok but all the pets were barking all the time. We complained the entire stay but the pets were just to much plus the smell was terrible.

Forget any negative reviews. The hotel was great. The staff was friendly. They even had my room ready 3 hours ahead of schedule. I called and told them about my mom who has health issues. The room was clean. I did bring my own set of cleaning supplies and gave the rooms a wipe down, especially the kitchen & bathroom. The fitness center is outdated,but no one really wanted to use it when you have a an outdoor hot tub and outdoor pool, and indoor hot tub and indoor pool. Not to mention that fabulous beach. I think the key to a wonderful stay with a lot of attention to detail is the timing. We arived on a Sunday. The hotel, beach and the area wasn't overly crowded. There were people who didnt obey the leash rules and let their dogs roam the when they walked them. Dogs are allowed on the beach before 9 am and after 5pm. The hotel even had an area that you can walk your dog and supplied bags. EXCELLENT. I am planning my next vacation already. This time minus the family and dog though :-) We also ordered food one night and it was at the room in less than 30 minutes. There are 2 Tanger outlet malls in the area. Walmarts everywhere and if you are traveling with a picky bunch-Golden Corral.Go before 4 pm and it's only $7.50. If you get coupon booklets at the vistor's center and hotel, you will find great deals on food and shopping.

the hotel was so far away from everything, the staff were not helpful with answering our questions about the area, and overall the hotel was not up to our expectations. they did have good pools and hot tubs, but i still would have stayed somewhere else if i had a second chance. most importantly NEVER FLY WITH US AIRWAYS!!!!!!
