Myrtle Beach Resort by MBM

there was a lot to said for having to wait and hour to an hour and a half for the key to the resort to be brought to you after driving four hours. Then to get there and discover the remote doesnt totally work in the living room the freezer doesnt freeze and the vent fans in the bath rooms dont work, all for a $700 resort price tag. disappointing

If you need Internet during your vacation, stay away from this resort because it is extremely hard for you to get or keep the access. Other than that, this resort is a nice place. It is directly on the beach, has good landscape and lots of facilities.

Terrible check-in experience. I was charge a total of $140 for linin rental, cleaning fee, damage waiver fee, and parking fee. Cancelation policy is two eeks so either pay or lose what I paid [...]

The location is great, the unit we had needs upgraded, light bulbs missing, Wi-Fi inoperable, no toaster, bed was bad, Vacuumn cleaner needs Service. fixed a cold water problem ourselves, very little flow, found a valve almost closed. But the Beach, Beach Bar, Store, parking great, convienent to everything.

My experience was good except I would like a little more room in bathroom so I didn't have to worry about falling into tub. I had a great time things were close although I went just to rest. I loved getting up and having coffee on balcony and watching the beautiful sunrises. We all enjoyed it and hope to be able to do it again. Thank You , Indy Gal .

Our reservations were made thru orbitz, but with MBM. I contact MBM at the number listed on our reservation sheet to inquire if there would be any additional charges other than the amout that was billed thru orbitz and was advised that there would be no additional fees. When we got to Myrtle Beach and checked in, we were required to pay an additional 135.00. This is how our very short vacation started. I have always made all the reservations myself thru computer contact and I have never had to pay any additional fees at check in. I will not give orbitz or MBM any positive recomendations after this experience. The resort was very nice, but the room that we stayed in with 2 full baths (which was nice) neiter were very clean. I found it interesting that we also had to pay for our parking pass when we entered the resort.....one for each car. The first day were arrived (OUR CONDO WAS ON THE 4TH FLOOR) the elevator was not working, the second day it was also not working.... I will make sure that everyone I know that Myrtle Beach Resort was a wonderful place with a few problems, but MBM or orbitz will never see our business again.

Place was fine , experience with orbitz prior to trip was horrible. Booked with orbitz and after trip was book informed about 135.00 non refundable linen/cleaning fee which doubled cost of trip but couldn't get refund due to time constraint. Orbitz customer service was horrible, spent 4 1/2 hours on phone on 3 seperate calls with no solution. Booked with Orbitz for years but after this ????

Was not told we had to pay to park. We got no clean towels and had to wash our own. paid 50.00 for a cleaning fee and still had to clean befor we lefted. stayed on the 4th floor and the day of check out the elevator didn't work.

This was a great place to stay for family and friends.I did not like the $135.00 cleaning fee we had to pay up front because the require you to clean the condo before you leave.

We traveled to the beach for a wedding. Although we had to pick up our keys at a different location than the resort the inconveniance of that was not so bad. The resort was safe, clean and private. There was plenty to do and we had a blast with the other family members who also stayed at the resort. The only down side was that our room overlooked the campground and was not oceanfront. The place was not crowded so I am sure we could've been accomodated in anocean front room. Overall our first experience with ORBIT was good. We plan to now look for a mountain getaway in the fall and will try ORBIT again. Theresa Corbin Columbia SC
