Myrtle Beach Resort

was a little leery about booking on this site without seeing room first but glad we did because when when we arrived it was just what we needed and wanted. Yes it was an efficency but it served ours needs. And with all the ammentities and surroundings who wants to be stuck in the room all day!! Great view close to everything only complaint slow elevators and parking so far. would stay again and plan to.

The hotel served its purpose in giving us a place to sleep. That is all the room allowed for. Not alot of space. Should not consider the room a condo. No way no how. I have been traveling for years and the space was truly ridiculous. Please give a better description of your small rooms for families who are planning trips online. Sad....such a beautiful resort for such a waste of space.

tried to enjoy the ocean and pools the room was extremely small and we expected at least 2 full or queen beds to sleep 4 adults but we got a sleeper sofa and a wall bed which both were very unconfortable and only 2 pillows for 4 adults in the room. 1 roll of tissue in the tiny bathroom and the oven on the stove did not work well. the front desk staff was not the friendliest either which all made the stay not the best. i've had much better trips. bad choice made

Room was okay for the price paid. Didn't have all the apliances as promised but after telling the staff 3 times they eventually gave them to us. Beach in front of the resort is very crowded as the resort is large but does not have very much beachfront property. Most pools are also very crowded during the day. Lots of kids around as well. Also sofabed is not comfortable at all. DO NOT depend on it.

I love that it was gated resort and we did have great time .Its located right on the beach and kids loved it ..i gave 3 stars because our room was really small and old .view was so so .we were on the 3rd floor and had a pool view and some ocean overall i do recommend but dont stay in a studio if you have kids

Staff was rude at check in. Seemed like only older/retired people stayed there. Not for young people. Other than that the hotel was nice and a good value. Room was big and had everything we wanted/needed.

My husband & I alongs with our friends stayed @ this resort for bike week. The distant wasnt to far from the strip & Check in was great. the staff was excellect, however i wasnt expecting to pay $6 dollars per car for parking & on Sat no parking was available & security was still charging guest $5. Needless to say the security sucks & totally separt when making a complaint. Also, the bar & grill resturant on the beach waitress was very racist & said that we verbally disrepected her& security tried to put us out. But then apologized after they got our side of the story & told him that i just spoke with chief about one officer & i will kindly report him to. The only complaint with the room is that they only give you one trash bag, one roll of toliet paper & does not replace towels & wash clothes on a daily bases..they also have some bugs that look like lady bugs on the property that are on the balconies so becareful & dont leave your balcony door open because there are no screens..overall the rooms were clean & up to date, pool was great & right on the beach & close to convient stores

the hotel needs major renovation, rusted appliances from the 80's, nobody came to replace towels or any other things during my stay, unfriendly staff.

I should have known from check in when a large woman with food stained clothes checked me in that things weren't going to go well. We got to the room only to find that it was not what we reserved. We reserved an Ocean View Studio that was supposed to sleep 5. It was to have a queen bed, pull out queen size sofa and two bunk beds. It did not have bunk beds for the kids. [...] I had to go to the local wal-mart and buy a twin blow up bed and a queen blow up bed becuase the pull out sofa had springs coming up through the matress, not to mention the dirty bed sheets still on it from the last party that rented the unit. I also had to make a list of all of the broken things in the room and take it to the rental office, they included: Broken Mirror in kitchen, broken door lock to balcony, tub would not drain, toilet was not anchored to the floor, dinges in walls, broken blinds on the sliding door to balcony, blinds on windows would not raise or lower, refridgerator barely kept food cool, ice maker broken (nor did the store in the hotel have any ice -not the whole time we were there. They said it was ordered but no one was delivering any), and definitely needed major updating. The 19 inch TV was about 20 years old with an old VCR sitting beside it. The air conditioning was very cool, but it was so loud that you could not sleep at night. When it turned on it woke everyone up in the unit. We had to get the room very cold before sleeping and then turn up the thermostat so that it would not kick on - extremely loud. I made the list and turned it in. Two days later a repair man came and fixed the toilet, door lock and unclogged the tub. He said he would put in a work order for the other things; they were never repaired during our stay. We stayed in the Renaissance Tower that only had 3 elevators for 22 floors and one elevator didn't work half the time. For the price I paid, I would never stay here again. I have no idea how this could be rated a 4 star resort; only the landscaping and beauty of the outside is four star. Also, this resort is on the far south end of Myrtle beach with no other hotels around for a couple miles. You have RV campgrounds on both sides of you - guess how nice that view is?!
