Oceanfront resort with many amenities, spanning 720 feet of beachfront
Long Bay Resort is located in the north end of Myrtle Beach along a scenic part of the oceanfront. The resort's amenities include the Long Bay Resort water park with indoor and outdoor pools, a whirlpool, and a children's pool. There is a year-round 250-foot lazy river, as well as a silly submarine and bucket drops to keep the children entertained. On-site eateries include the Oceanview Cafe and Martin's restaurant. Long Bay Resort is also known for its excellent value golf deals and custom-made packages.

When going out for seafood @ the larger seafood restaurants always ask for a senior menu, you may not always want the buffet and they will not offer or tell you they have senior rices or menu.

Impressive accomadation
We find out the place was beautiful, It really caters for family outing. The kids love the indoor swimming pool and the lazy river. They enjoy their stay. We will be back for the next holiday.

Fun get away
I really have no complaints other than the lady at the front desk having an attitude. My room was very spacious & ready upon arrival.

Great family fun!
We stayed in a three bedroom, two bath condo with kitchen and laundry. Plenty of room for a comfortable stay with a large family. With the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, and relaxing lazy river, our family had no reason to leave the facility. The staff accommodated our every wish. We will return at other times this year.

It is slow moving on roads near the beach, but there are faster roads if you travel in west a bit.

Excellent Stay
Great value and location. Room was very clean. We will definitely be staying here again. Amenities were super convenient. You can not go wrong staying here.

good value- great for kids
Spent 3 nights in November. Weather was beautiful. Suite includes full kitchen with full size refregerator. Nice to save money by cooking at "home." Only problem was very uncomfortable couch and chair in living room. Will definitely go back.

Go to The Sea Captain's House for dinner. Right on the ocean and great seafood. Been there for 50 years and still the best.

Lied
The front desk lied to me. They said you all did not charge the taxes and resort fees, so they charged me an extra $15. When I looked at my recieve later from you all, You all did charge me the fees. I was lied to by the front desk at Long Bay. Thes rest of my stay was great, but it is hard to swallow the out right lie and I want my money back from them.

met my expectations
I would certainly book again. We enjoyed our stay with shopping walk on the beach. The pools are well kept and other amenities met our expectations. Certainly a good deal.

Nothing special
The first room we were given was down in what looked like a dungeon and had a view of the parking lot and a wall. We paid $60 to be upgraded to a second floor room. When we arrived we found they were doing work with a jackhammer directly below us. Our friends in the second room had to move because it smelled like cat urine. The workers were not as noisy the second or third day.
