Oceanfront resort with many amenities, spanning 720 feet of beachfront
Long Bay Resort is located in the north end of Myrtle Beach along a scenic part of the oceanfront. The resort's amenities include the Long Bay Resort water park with indoor and outdoor pools, a whirlpool, and a children's pool. There is a year-round 250-foot lazy river, as well as a silly submarine and bucket drops to keep the children entertained. On-site eateries include the Oceanview Cafe and Martin's restaurant. Long Bay Resort is also known for its excellent value golf deals and custom-made packages.

Our Group Sales Department has the expertise to plan meetings and banquets to accommodate up to 100 people. Great getaway
Overall my stay was great. The only problem I had was, I put the sign in my card slot for the room to be serviced when I left that am and when I returned in the pm the sign was still in the card slot flipped to the side that read "Do not disturb". So the room was never serviced!

Great vacation
We were very pleased. The room was huge and there was a nice area with a sink and a frig. Large wardrobe area as well.

Resort?
I was disappointed when the staff found out I had booked through computer they suddenly tacked on fees I was not prepared for. We had issues with our room keys three times and the staff were rude about it. We had to ask for toilet paper three times and garbage bags twice. It seemed like the staff didn't care about us at all and it was not the best experience. The price was good since we were there in off season. Access to the beach was good and we would have liked a less expensive restaurant.

This a condo /hotel as to locaton and amenities it is fine. I booked an ocean view room. If you in stood in back corner of room you could see a bit of water. the actual view of adjoining building. I complained and I got a shrug and was told " You booked throught --

No big surprises.
Arrival was fine but directions to room were confusing. It was nice to have parking in the same building as the room. The room was dated but clean. Oddly enough there was a coffee maker but no coffee supplies. The beach and view were excellent! There was some noise in the hallways but not too bad in our room. Many good restaurants in the area. Luigi's Italian was excellent and reasonably priced.

Not as great as I had thought
when checked into the room was put into a room with a street view with the ocean view way off to the side, definately not Oceanview as booked , I complained to the front desk, only to be told they could not move me and I should be more cautious when booking on a 3rd party site, that I should have called the Hotel to book my room. The day of check out I was in the laundry room drying clothes, came back to the room and housekeeping had started moving out my things and was cleaning the room, I had to pack up while they were cleaning. I complained to the front desk to only be told that housekeeping must have thought I had checked out which was not accurate. I was not pleased with the cleanliness of the pool or unfriendlyness of the staff.

Location is good but the hotel rooms are not that good.
The website was showing $32 but it will become $50 when you go there. Thats ridiculous. Hotel should put all the expenses at the time of booking. I will not opt for Long bay next time.

Great Way to Unwind
It was great. The staff at both check-in and check-out were excellent. Facilities met my needs fully and as always I had a wonderful experience.
