As you approach Bluegreen Harbour Lights the tree lined drive and lighthouse invite you to a world without care. Situated along the Intracoastal Waterway less than five miles from the beach the resort is an elegant seaside style community. Colorful pastel buildings with nautical villa decor and a wraparound porch at the clubhouse exude our lowcountry charm. There is plenty to do at Harbour Lights without even venturing to the nearby Grand Strand. Bike or walk along picturesque winding roads. Float effortlessly along our lazy river or bathe yourself in a coastal Carolina sunset from the hot tub. If you dont feel like going to the beach then spend the day with the kids at the pool and our poolside bar Knots. Relax with a Key Lime Pie Smoothie or a South Carolina Tea while the kids enjoy frozen fruit smoothies. And be sure to take a look at our food menu for great appetizers and combo meals. Our extensive activities program either at the pool or in the kids clubroom will entertain the kids year round. Young ones can cool off from the summer heat by splashing around in the kiddie pool that has a fountain. Harbour Lights is located within driving distance of outlet malls terrific theaters live entertainment and golf courses. Complimentary weekly housekeeping; additional cleanings available at a fee of 45.00 per clean. Resort will undergo an exterior renovation project on some buildings now through the end of July 2012. Due to these renovations neighboring buildings may experience some noise and dust.

Better than a hotel

The staff was very kind to my 12 year old son. Great location, quiet but close to everything. Great pool and pool bar/restaurant.

great place

Spent two nights there over Easter with my kids. It was a great trip, great value. Approximately $100 got us a one bedroom, one bathroom suite with a fully furnished kitchen, a pullout couch, flat screen TV, and a balcony overlooking the pond (which they keep stocked with fish). There are two or three pools and a bar/grill on site as well; everything onsite is within easy walking distance. The location is fine; nowhere near the beach or anything, but it's a two minute drive to highway 501 and another two minutes to highway 17, which should get you anywhere you need to go within fifteen or twenty minutes or so. My only real complaint is that both our beds were way, way too stiff.

Great Resort, wrong location.

Nice resort with great amenities in the middle of a run down neighborhood.

perfect for mini-marathon race

This was across the street from the Myrtle Beach mini-marathon start. We were able to walk out about 10 min. before the race began. It was a great place to stay. Very nice rooms and huge master suite. This had a nice screened porch overlooking the lake. The staff could not have been nicer. I would stay here again
