An Okay getaway
The furniture was very dusty, so my wife dusted. The floors in the bathrooms needed a good cleaning and the carpet had a big spot on it. The king size bed in the Master bedroom was made up with 2 twin mattresses. It was like we were sleeping in 2 different beds. At ckeckin one of the girls accused us of calling and saying have the room ready early, because we would be there early. The was un-true, because we didn't call!

Our room was on the first floor right by a stairway, which was rather noisy at night with others going up and down the steps. The room was clean, and very comfortable. We did miss some of the amenities that you would normally receive in a hotel room. like complimentary shampoo and daily maid service. But being right across from a great pool made up for that. We would stay here again!

A great place to eat was Hannah Banana, near Murrel's Inlet. Definitely shop at the outlets on Rt. 501.

My Stay
I loved the place, it was perfect!! I would have like to have shampoo and blow dryer there, that's all I missed, all else was terrific. A little ways from the beach, but it was so beautiful on the golf course, it didn't really matter.

GREAT PRICE
THE PLACE WAS EXCELLENT ONCE WE FOUND IT,MIMIMAL INFORMATION GIVEN TO HOW TO FIND OUR PLACE AND HOE TO ACCESS THE KEY,THE NUMBER GIVEN GAVE POOR INFORMATION,DID NOT KNOW IF I WAS BEING RIPPED OFF,IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT AND VERY UPSETTING,IT TOOK OVER AN HOUR AND HALF TO GET TO OUR ROOM,MY FLIGHT GOT IN LATE,IT WAS AFTER MIDNIGHT WHEN WE GOT TO OUR ROOM,AGAIN FOR SOMEONE THATS HAS NOT BEEN THERE BEFORE INFORMATION WAS POOR AND THE NEXT NIGHT WE RAN INTO A COUPLE WHO WAS HAVING THE SAME DIFFICULTIES.

World Tour
Nice size rooms in this 2 bedroom suite. Lacked enough supplies for the period of the visit, i.e. extra toilet paper. Lights / Lamps in the rooms didn't all work. Telephone was not connected.

We went to the {palace theater and saw Hooray for Hollywood. We had amazing discounted seats in the front row!!

Eh Vacatoin Trip
While we were there, we went to different theme parks and went fishing. The hotel is not far from the beach but it had many undesirable characteristics. To begin with, the hotel was not actually a hotel, and there is not a maid service daily. Also, there was this brown, disgusting stuff in the freezer and the rooms must be paper thin, because everytime someone came upstairs or vice versa you could hear everything. The people next door were talking in a normal voice and you could still hear every word. The hotel staff was very rude and made some very inpolite gestures. I do not recommend this "hotel" as a vacation stay especially not with family or friends. Also the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable and even the pillows were stiff.

There is a Bob Evans on the same road as the Grande Tour area and they will close their doors at 9 p.m. so I recommend eating early or calling in food early.

Great Stay for the value
We stayed in an efficiency room. The room was very clean and had a small stove, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Although all of the pots, pans, dishes, and flatware was provided, we were not given any dish detergent or dishclothes. The beds were comfortable enough, but the bedding wasn't the best quality and the headboard was shaky. Overall the room was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
