Modern, oceanfront resort in South Myrtle Beach
The Myrtle Beach Grand Atlantic Ocean Resort South Beach features contemporary, attractive furnishings, ideal for those with high-tech needs. Conveniently located in South Beach, the hotel is close to major area attractions including Market Common, Carolina Opry, Ripley's Aquarium, Dixie Stampede, Broadway at the Beach, Alabama Theatre, Palace Theatre, Family Kingdom, and Freestyle Music Park.

- One Bedroom Oceanfront Condo. With approximately 800sf of living space and sleeping room for 8, these units are perfect for smaller families. The bedroom features two full-size beds. The living area includes a sofa-sleeper and pull-down wall bed which are perfect for the kids. A full kitchen with dishware and a washer/dryer provide you with all the comforts of home. Free Wi-Fi allows you to stay connected with friends and family and helps you research activities. All this, plus a private oceanfront balcony with full-view of the Atlantic Ocean. All units are non-smoking.

- 2 Bedroom oceanfront condo. Our two bedroom two bath condominiums are some of the largest on the beach and have well over 1000sf of space. As with all of our oceanfront units, an oceanfront balcony, full kitchen, washer/dryer and wireless internet are provided. The bedroom layout is perfect for smaller families. The master bedroom has one king-size bed while the second bedroom features two full-size beds for the kids. For extra sleeping space, there is a pull-out sofa-bed in the living room. These units sleep 8 people comfortably. All units are non-smoking.

- Three Bedroom Oceanfront Condo. With nearly 1100sf of comfort and convenience, this unit has a lot to offer. The oceanfront master bedroom features a king- size bed and balcony access. Second bedroom also has a king-size bed. The third bedroom has two full-size beds. The separate living room has a pull-out sofa for that extra sleeping space. A full kitchen, washer/dryer, and dining area provide you with all the comforts of home while 3 full baths allows everyone to get ready for the day at the same time. Accommodates up to 10 people. All units are non-smoking.

The hotel was very well equipped and fairly comfortable. The rooms are very spacious and my wife loved the convenience of the kitchen layout.The location is excellent with all the MB attractions a short drive.

Clean, Great pool & Beach acess
Laid out by the pool, then walked on the beach. Then looked over information that was in room, made reservations for a show. Went out to our favorite restaurant and took in the show. Got up to a great sun rise with cup of coffee on the balcony. Great time and will go back soon!!!!

Not a bad hotel
The room was fine...really roomy. However, the matresses are out dated and are hard as plywood...actually plywood I think is softer and the pillows aren't any better.

Not impressed
[...] told me our check-in was at 1 p.m.. We arrived at 1:05 and couldn't check in until 3.:45 p.m. Staff was not apologetic at all just saying the room hadn't been cleaned and that [...] shouldn't have told me a 1 p.m. check-in.
