Labor Day weekend stay
Good: Right in front of the beach with beach access at all hours. Decent-sized room for price. Balcony with chairs. Convenient location. Little pool and hot tub to relax. Free wifi. Bad: One light in the room did not work. Bathroom ventilation is not good, gets extremely steamy and stuffy after a normal shower. No box of tissues in the room. For an average of $57 per night for two people with an ocean view room right on the beach over Labor Day weekend, it's great value for the money.

Very Displeased
Worst hotel in the WORLD!!!
The Gazebo Inn has to be the absolute worst hotel in the world. The staff was very rude and unfriendly. The rooms were not up to par. They were small and smelled extremely bad. I had reserved a room with a queen bed, but was given a room with a double bed. The office clerk told me there were no more queen beds, but wouldn't refund our money so we could stay somewhere else. We were switched to a room with 2 double beds which we had to push together in order to have enough room to sleep. The room was smelly and I was afraid to even take my shoes off. We also saw bugs in the room. There was mold in the stairwell due to leaky ceilings. I was in Myrtle Beach to get married. This is definitely not the way I wanted to spend my honeymoon. This hotel is absolutely terrible. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

NIGHTMARE AT MYRTAL BEACH!!!!
I have never seen anything like this place before! It was a nightmare. Please listen to me! Never and I mean never stay there! I can't believe the place has not been CONDEMNED! It is not a safe place to stay. This place needs to be looked at by the proper authorities see if it is up to code.

Quiet Getaway
The hotel wasn't quite what I expected after reading other reviews. I was a little disappointed at first, but soon got over it and realized, hey, it's an older hotel. I also realized this was a steal for the price I paid. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating and I loved my ocean view balcony.
