Swimming pool and oceanfront lawn with picnic tables in Myrtle Beach
Dayton House Resort guests enjoy picnics and soak up the tropical views before returning to the walk-in pool, one of multiple water features at the property. A lazy river keeps the pace nice and slow, while two restaurants -- one open seasonally -- were made for casual dining. Rooms were made for extended stays, boasting full kitchens or kitchenettes and balconies for indulging in the beachside setting.

Hotel nice, bigger then i expected. nice pools, hot tubs, you just have to go to different buildings depending on the one your in. food places in great walking distance, overall i enjoyed my stay

Spring Break
The best deal I found. Nice hotel, excellent location. Best part was I booked the room on a Wednesday before the first weekend before Spring Break. How luck is that.

Medievil Times is just around the way and they are having a buy one adult ticket and get one free. Well worth the money for that kind of entertainment.

Spring Break Blues
What You Can't See You Get
Recommend only the beachfront rooms. If not you will hear every car, motorcyle, bus, screaming teenager, and top ten hit being played on the boulevard. Don't be fooled by the pictures of the side or angled view ocean views. You will not be able to see the ocean unless you lean over your balcony; risking life and limb. The resort is rather old and the bathrooms were rather moldy around the crown and tub. At least the rooms had flat screen t.v.'s and the heated outdoor pool at the main building was nice! The outdoor seating area was nice as well. They have lawn chairs and umbrellas for the guests and you have a great view of the ocean. Also a shaded area with a frontporch swing where you can relax. In walking distance to service station and some pretty good restaurants.

Pleasant experience
I was a little skeptical when I first viewed this hotel online, but it was actually really nice. We had an oceanfront 1 bedroom suite and it was great. The room was clean and the view was perfect. The only negative thing I can say is that none of the remotes worked for the televisions. The front desk staff was courteous and resourceful. Housekeeping was pleasant, extremely courteous, and did a thorough cleaning.

There are many dining options in the vicinity. I found the visitor's book in my hotel room extremely resourceful. The front desk will also provide option and coupons if asked.

Definitely go to Uncle John's restaurant across the street for breakfast, as you get a 10% discount with your hotel key, and it was good.

Nice Location to get anywhere fast
The Hotel was in a nice location to walk or drive to everywhere. The price was very affordable, but lacked alot of accomodations. The indoor hot tub was cold. A big disappointment.

Great location for the price
Great weekend get-a-way. Excellent room for the price! Staff was super friendly. Location was excellent on the beach and very close to Broadway at the Beach and the Outlets if you like to shop
