Good girlfriends getaway!
Oceanfront view is the greatest. The staff was very helpful especially housekeeping. The beds were comfortable. The room and furniture were a bit worn and needed repair and painting. The bed linen was old and worn, from the mattress pad to the spread, in dire need of replacement. The scenery and outside amenities almost made up for everything else.

Nice ocean view
It was a place to sleep, we may have had a better time if the weather was warm and it wasn't so early in the season, but we found Myrtle Beach to be devoid of anything fun to do, the boardwalk was cool, but you get badgered by the time share salesmen by just going out for a walk. But I bet the extra $18 the resort charges you when you get there having already PAID for the room, that extra $18 wouldn't have made that much difference.

Family oriented place
The Crown Reef is an OK resort. The room was spacious with an ocean view. I could have done without the large cockroaches in it though. Loved all ofthe pools but couldn't get in the lazy river. It was over crowded with undisciplined kids. The hotel staff was very adamant about wearing the wrist band while at the pool area. But, when we go there half of the people were not wearing them. Who is not to say that people were just straying off the beach using the hotel pools. There was staff walking around but they were not saying anything to people without wrist bands.

Mom and daughter weekend
Multiple pools, oceanfront rooms and large lazy river made for fun weekend. No real "kiddie pool" and mix up with the room type was corrected at registration were the only issues. Good time.

Nice hotel
Crown Reef is a nice hotel with lots to entertain the kids. There are many pools, a long lazy river, arcade room, etc. It's right on the ocean, and the view out the window is spectacular. The room size is somewhat small, but has all the amenities a family needs. Our room showed significant wear-and-tear. However, my experiences at other hotels in the Myrtle Beach area indicates this is very common in these highly visited locations.

Easy access to the beach, the pool
Ask for [...] If you want to get tickets to shows, very helpful guy. Carolina opry is a must see.. Barefoot on the beach was great.. Can stop anywhere for good food, such as Mammys. Parking was easy to get in and out.. Trip was easy and fun
