Very nice place to stay
My wife and I had a wonderful stay! Plenty of parking. The room was comfortable. The view was awesome! We booked a last minute weekend away and then discovered we were heading down to Myrtle Beach during BIKE WEEK! "Uh Oh" I thought...but the stay was nice. Our room had two queen beds street-side, which was a bit noisy, so we opted to sleep on the Ocean-side of the room on the Murphy Bed. The staff was super nice. If you are looking for the Ritz Carlton, keep looking, but if you're looking a nice place with clean rooms and great view, you've found your place! I would definitely advise you to check and see if it's one of the sever Bike Weeks however. Pool and Lazy River were also very nice.

Not Applicable
This is on the south end of Myrtle Beach...I would highly recommend you utilize the Grissom Parkway to come down versus just taking Hwy 17 Business if you are coming from a northerly location.

beach vacation review 2010
This was a nice place to stay and was clean would have preferred something closer to the heart of town without having to pay to park to do everything. Also the bathroom was rather small for a resort and blowdryer was terrible. However after 2 days we called and they were quick to install one that worked better. Was not able to enjoy last night due to the package and the early flight out. Also we were quoted a package and did not realize we would be charged an additional resort fee on check in. With all that being said it was a clean place and fairly quiet with a good view of the ocean.

Enjoyed dining at the Seacaptain's House on the ocean, it was fabulous very good seafood and a spectacular view of the ocean. They also had a parking lot for the customers. One of the few places right in Myrtle beach where we did not have to pay to park.

Room was very disappointing
This hotel's website made it look fantastic. I have to say the pool area I was very satisfied with along with the lazy river. The location of the hotel was also great. View from the balcony was fantastic. My main problem with this hotel was the room itself. I wouldn't mind paying $178 per night (which I did)if the room was updated and in good shape. The wallpaper was coming off the wall at the seams in places and the appliances had to be 25 years old as well as the carpet. Also for this price a complimentary breakfast should be included but is not. Will look for something better next time.

OK hotel for the price. Currently renovating, but I was not in one of those rooms. The staff was very friendly. Great location. One of the best restaurants in town is right next door, Damon's.

relaxing time
we enjoyed the beach, pools, lazy river, hot tubs. a resturaunt on site (besides the one for breakfast only) would have been nice. the service was great until the last day i think they forget to clean our room so i called and they just made bed, and put towels in, nothing else. but overall service was good.
