Oceanfront in Myrtle Beach with more than 20 pools, tubs and fountains

Location

Crown Reef Resort sits on the beachfront just south of the center of Myrtle Beach. Walk to Myrtle Beach State Park, or head up to the boardwalk, less than three miles away.

Not what we expected

We were blown away by the website but when we got there it was not to our liking. The pools were broken even when their website bragged about how many pools they have. The restuarant they advertised selling breakfast, lunch, and dinner was only open for breakfast. Other than that we were still able to stay and enjoy our time away.

Senior week

Hotel was likely very nice 20 years ago, but is now an empty building. out of three 10 floor towers, there were likely 30 rooms. filled. Certainly not a hotel for 20's. Do have a lot a pools and a nice lazy river. Hotel right on the beach. Decent price.

Alone time together

This is a very good hotel and would stay there again. The only bad thing was that the housekeeping staff did not come around on Sunday to get the trash or to give new towels so we had to go find someone to get them from. It was really nice to be able to sleep with the door open and listen to the waves crash. Hope to get back there soon. Need to be able to use the hot tubs and pools after 10 cause alot of people don't get to unwind till after that.

Last Minute booking

Booked at last minute, stayed at another hotel in Myrtle Beach last year, this one was so much better, the view of the ocean from the 10th floor was great. The lady at the desk was so friendly and had a room ready when I arrived. Would stay at the Crown Reef again for sure, enjoyed the pools, lazy river and hot tub.

Good Experience

I enjoyed my stay at the Crown Reef. The room could have been a little cleaner, (there were stains on the walls) and the beds were not that comfortable but overall it was pleasant. The staff was great and so was the location.

Enjoyed My trip

I enjoyed my stay at the Crown...yes if is old but most are in Myrtle B...Kudos to the staff and Management will return again

Our Short Stay

This is a Very nice place to stay in. The Room and Ocean View was very Nice. Only disappointment We had was that the hot Tubs were not in operation. But it's the Off Season and We understand that. We would definetly stay here again!

Good Value

It was a good price for a 1 bedroom suite. The staff was very nice. Location is good. I would stay again.
