We enjoyed the show we saw at the Palace theatre and the shopping and eating at Broadway at the Beach. We have stayed at this hotel before and liked it very much, very pleasant and helpful staff.

Dissatisfied with Marriot
Not what was promised
When I checked in, I was the only one at the counter. The clerk walked back and forth behind the counter and ignored me. He was ferrying dirty towels back and forth for the house keeping staff. He could have said something like "just a moment, I'll be right with you or something". I had to wait while he finished doing house keeping work.There was not an iron, hair dryer, remote control, or coffee maker in the room. I was told by the cleaning staff that they were overbooked and these items were not available for our room.[...] they knocked on the door starting at 10am telling us that we were supposed to be out by 11am. This was hard because my wife was trying to dry her hair over the air conditioning unit.On check out, I was told that the manager was not there and they could not do anything. I thought the price was too high because of the lack of the amenities which are usually standard.Our room was across the hall from the noisy ice maker and the doors are thin so I found it hard to sleep.
